I was following the health reform stories very closely on Free Republican as well as FNC, MSNBC and CNN and noticed some coincidences in timing that look suspicious. These Tea party slur accusations (link below) on Saturday were very close in time to the immigration reform march on Sunday. I was also following the deal that the Hispanic Caucus demanded from the White House to secure their votes on Health reform which they talked about on FNC amazingly. Here’s a sequence of stories (below) and ping me if you see a possible connection as I do.
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus said that racial epithets were hurled at them Saturday by angry protesters who had gathered at the Capitol to protest health-care legislation, and one congressman said he was spit upon. The most high-profile openly gay congressman, Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), was heckled with anti-gay chants.

A group of Hispanic lawmakers on Thursday will tell President Barack Obama that they may not vote for healthcare reform unless changes are made to the bill’s immigration provisions.

Ultimately, the lawmakers determined the fight for the immigration language was not worth killing the broader package. And at least one said his vote came after President Barack Obama this week assured him that he would push for a broad immigration overhaul.

Originally the concern was all about INSTITUTIONALIZED racism, as I recall. There never was a belief that you could one hundred per cent (or 3000 per cent) change every hardened-heart. There will always be someone somewhere who is a racist, just as there will always be baddies of every type. Because some people murder does not make us a “murderous” country for example.
I like to joke as I go about my daily life observing blacks doing great, demanding services from store managers, etc. : “It’s the oppression”.
Yes of course individual blacks and whites will always make racial remarks, be rude, etc. But institutionalized racism is the exact opposite of what we have.
IF we had a racist America our everyday experiences would be the OPPOSITE of what they are. Everyone is believing there is this terrible racist America - somewhere else.
In our own lives, blacks are treated respectfully, they are given preferences and billions in aid, and all businesses and workplaces fear nothing more than an accusation of racism. Am I describing something different than what everyone else observes every day?

Don't forget your government doctor tells you your death options given your position on the waiting list (white male, middle age, republican = 10 years wait time) options : casket or cremation , so you can plan on your money being taken by the revived death tax LOL

I call it FNC because FOX usually means entertainment. That’s OK, Megan Kelly and Cavuto will expose the dems. Maybe Beck too.

If you try to spend it it will go to a VAT or cap and trade. If you save it the death tax will take it. But the important thing is letting you THINK it’s really your money so you work harder. It’s like taxing your social security, it’s not a cut, it’s a tax.
With health reform, it’s not a middle class tax increase, it’s a fine, except in court they will call it a tax so it is constitutional. (this part is hokey I admit.)
They are going through more contortions than a yoga master to maintain the illusion that we have a choice. Instead of taxing SS payments, and creating more paperwork, why not just cut the payment? They spend more money on bureaucracy to collect the tax than the tax itself. It’s nothing but a con game.

The opposite. All I have is my own experience. Perhaps things are and were different in different parts of the country. I’m 62 years old (tell anyone and I’ll hurt ya).
In my family, neighborhood, church, and school especially, anyone would have been ostracized and shunned who dared be a racist. I lived in several communities in the Pac. N.W. We were taught it was the lowest of character flaws and a sin. People ‘different’ from my ‘YT’ community were treated more like celebrities than strangers. But then they did’nt show up by the millions with a BAD attitude and try to tell us to change our laws to suit them.
Okay, I can’t resist, since you brought up the subject.
Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth’s rite of Passage?
His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him, and leaves him alone.
He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it.
He cannot cry out for help to anyone.
Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own..
The boy is naturally terrified..
He can hear all kinds of noises
Wild beasts must surely be all around him.
Maybe even some human might do him harm.
The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold.
