Below is a video of Rand Paul with his pal Adam Kokesh talking about their common "movement".
Read a report at Gathering of Eagles about James Bancroft's "mighty stand for truth" as he has resigned the Hartford Tea Party over their support for Peter Schiff who is part of this Libertarian "movement" with Adam Kokesh. Please read the whole post.
There is no doubt in my mind that Ron Paul's libertarian movement is attempting to take over the Republican Party through co-opting the Tea Party movement. We've seen this here in Kentucky as a good chunk of our Tea Party leaders supported Bill Johnson, but Rand Paul's big money (77% of it coming from out of state people in this "liberty movement") gave him credibility with the media and made him able to bill himself as "the Tea Party candidate" here. It was all a hoax, of course, and now Kentucky's grassroots-selected candidate has been disenfranchised.
Across America, the story seems to be the same. Many people involved in politics for the first time in many years have no idea that the Ron Paul / Rand Paul camp is actually anti-war, hates the 14th amendment and the 17th amendment and.....believe in UFOs. Like the people in the Hartford Tea Party who would not listen to Mr. Bancroft, they are being duped with the "broadened message" of Rand Paul and other candidates in this "movement". It's like Obama all over again.

Sarah backed off shortly after she saw where Rand was headed.
No comments and no events directed for him in her
schedule through June.
Have not heard anything further from Steve Forbes
I think she gave money but I don’t remember an endorsement. Would like to know who the person was that asked her to give money to Rand Paul. They need their head examined.
My congratulations to Kentucky.
I haven’t seen any “back off” what did she say, you claim that she has revealed a reason that you discerned, “shortly after she saw where Rand was headed”, you sound very knowledgeable, share with me.
You are claiming that she has changed her assessment of the two candidates and that she has decided that the Romney guy should win even though he is now the losing candidate among Kentucky statewide GOP primary voters, I would like to see that evidence, you also casually throw in Steve Forbes name for no reason as though he has changed his mind as well.
You do know that this is not a close race, Trey Grayson’s support has collapsed as Rand Paul has come to be known around the state, there is no reason for Forbes or Palin to have been there.
I would wait for someone to prove it before I let them convince me to believe that Palin and Paul are truthers.
Governor Palin gave a formal endorsement for Rand Paul, as has, Concerned Women for America, Gun Owners of America, Steve Forbes and RedState.com.
Asked by "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace why she endorsed Paul, Palin said Because he's a federalist and he wants the states to have more say and as we respect the 10th Amendment in our Constitution, he wants the states to have more say in a lot of these issues."
Ben Johnson. Was he the American Independent Party's candidate? I thought he was doing well, according to posts here.
Very important information to know. You are making a difference by providing it. Thanks!
Bill Johnson was a Republican, that was endorsed by as least one third party, the good news that you were hearing was made up stuff (with a fake poll for hire) from someone that does that kind of thing.
Bill Johnson never even reached a level to show in the polls at realclearpolitics.com.
Yeah if Ron Paul ever runs again for President, it doesn’t help much for a Kentucky Senate race by Rand Paul though.
Rand Paul is a state senator. Rand Paul’s leading in the primary polls because of dis-statisfication with Mitch McConnell’s leadership as Senate Minority Leader and Sen. Jim Bunning being unattentive to KY issues. Rand Paul is feeding on the anti-DC and anti-incumbent climate today. He would have been a non-starter in 2004.
Palin no
(Ron) Paul yes
(Rand) Paul I am not yet sure.
Exactly, No one has shown me that Palin and Forbes, Concerned Women for America, and Gun Owners of America have embraced a “truther”
No, I’m in Tennessee, but I’m an hour south of KY.
Oh. :(
Well, you *know* Kentucky’s politics!
Fieldmarshaldj knows politics in every state, and most countries.
I have to wonder, it’s totally crazy there. I expected a Grayson-Conway showdown in the fall, but if the polls are to be believed, the two wackjobs are leading. Mongiardo is a Bidenesque nutter, and as for Paul... well, we know about him. Losing Bunning is going to be a great loss, he’s irreplaceable.
Heh... I wouldn’t go so far as to say “most countries.” ;-D It’s a chore just keeping up with the individual states !
Rand Paul lead a Tea Party protest against Yarmuth’s pro-ObamaCare vote. Zach Wamp says he will defy ObamaCare if elected Governor. The AGs of FL, SC, and PA are filing suits against ObamaCare. These guys are running for Governor. Mitt Romney says he wants to organize a movement against ObamaCare. Huckabee urges Evangelicals pray for ObamaCare’s repeal. Palin issued a most wanted list for pro-ObamaCare Dems. Lots of grandstanding against ObamaCare and asking for money. Will Republicans lose interest in repealing ObamaCare should they regain Congress?
