In acts of naked favoritism for cronies, without any parity for the states, the president shamelessly corrupts the democratic process with clandestine corrupt bargains.

I think that Hawaii also qualifies for something under the Louisiana Purchase.

ATR being the open border/amnesty lovers they are with leadership from Muslim convert Grover Norquist didn’t bother to point out the back room deals for amnesty for healthcare votes.

Look what Obama gave the Hispanic caucus the other day in their ‘meeting’.

Yesterday the Hispanic Caucus threw it’s support behind Obamacare for a trade off of amnesty and insuring every latino enclave everywhere. Keep in mind, Medicare payments for those of us who have paid in our entire lives, will be cut.

[snips]“I am so pleased that the reconciliation bill released today provides fair and just treatment to the 4.4 million Americans living in Puerto Rico and its sister territories, who have been treated unequally under federal health programs for too long,” said Rep. Pedro Pierluisi (D-Puerto Rico).

“Today’s bill constitutes a remarkable reversal from where we stood just a few weeks ago. The bill will provide $6.3 billion in new Medicaid funding for the territories in the form of an estimated 182% increase to their current federal funding caps. This represents nearly a tripling of the total Medicaid funding the territories would receive under current law. In addition, whereas the Senate bill strictly limited how new Medicaid funding could be spent, the reconciliation bill gives Puerto Rico and the other territories flexibility to determine how best to use this funding to expand coverage and improve services. Finally, while the Senate bill excluded the U.S. citizens in the territories from the Health Care Exchange, the bill released today provides our constituents with access to the Exchange and $1 billion to offer subsidies to individuals and families of modest means who participate in an Exchange. I am so grateful to the leadership and the members of the CHC for their unstinting support for fair treatment for Puerto Rico and the other territories.”

Members of the Caucus also noted that the legislation makes significant investments to expand community health centers throughout the nation. By directing funding to health care services and for the operation, expansion, and construction of community health centers nationwide, the bill will improve care for all Americans, but be particularly beneficial to Latinos and those living in underserved communities.

...Backroom Deals In the Democrats Health Care Takeover

The corrupt beneficiaries of the backroom deals do not seem to know that once they have voted, they cannot recall their vote, but the contraband and promises they received can disappear. Their voting record may not help them at the polls, and their graft may not be welcomed or appreciated by many voters. Perhaps the congressman's motivation is to have a nice retirement income as a result, IMO, so it does not matter that the wishes of his voters are 180 degrees apart.

“”””in the declaration of independence, which commenced with the fundamental proposition that ‘all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’ This right is a large ingredient in the civil liberty of the citizen. To deny it to all but a few favored individuals, by investing the latter with a monopoly, is to invade one of the fundamental privileges of the citizen, contrary not only to common right, but, as I think, to the express words of the constitution. It is what no legislature has a right to do; and no contract to that end can be binding on subsequent legislatures. . . BUTCHERS’ UNION CO. v. CRESCENT CITY CO., 111 U.S. 746 (1884)””””
