Rev. Jesse Jackson confronted an angry crowd of approximately 200 Tea Party protesters outside the Capitol on Sunday evening while his son, Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-Ill.), filmed the encounter on his cell phone.
Jackson was visiting the Capitol to witness the expected passage of healthcare reform legislation, and he walked out of the building at 6:45 p.m. with his son. As he walked by a grassy knoll below the Speakers Lobby balcony, protesters were chanting anti-reform slogans and waving signs.
Jackson walked to the edge of a small stone wall and watched the crowd. Protesters recognized him moments later and, as if on cue, the whole crowd turned in unison away from the balcony and faced Jackson.
Never attend any of these events without cameras/video cameras and microphones.
Never forget the enemies of America are among you.
“Grassy knoll”?
Excellent response, and probably diametrically opposite from what he wanted to see. My guess is he wanted someone to start yelling the n word or worse. By denying him that opportunity PLUS by depriving him of even a hateful facial grimace, you hurt him far more than any possible name calling might have.
Jesse the pimp America scammer.
They want us to start the confrontation. A national crackdown on dissent will begin as soon as they have film of us oppressing a black man.
We’ve got to learn the fine art of shunning; it can be very effective, particularly when a narcissist is wanting attention.
Why are the Tea Party Patriots chanting “Yes We Did!”
Well, I have heard that Jesse Jackson is a “master baiter”.
It is good that liberals like Jackson think that the Tea Party movement is small and irrelevant.
Jesse is a hate monger, and like all hate mongers, he thinks everyone is like him. Jesse is also a has-been who never really was, and the greatest insult we can give him is to ignore him.
I’ve used shunning in discipline with my children. My daughter was 7 and stole a dollar off of her brother’s dresser. I explained that I would take care of her, feed her and provide for her, but I didn’t associate with thieves. After a couple of hours of me and the rest of the family giving the silent treatment she got the point and even would go out of her way to make sure everyone understand she didn’t take something.
These people are really lame. Civil rights leader, my ass.
What, Al had the day off?

They have a well developed sense of Irony?
The YouTube comments are disgusting. Obama is doing more to drive the racial groups apart than anyone has in the past 50 years.
Okay folks, from now on the “n” word is strictly verboten among us conservatives. Anyone who uses it will be shunned and ostracized. If they want to be political, they will have to go join the Democrats, where they will be a perfect fit with Senator Robert Byrd and other prominent Democratic race-baiters of the past.
this must be one of the game plans ...the blk rep was just on msnbc going on about being called the n word but after watching all the video’s i can find i heard nothing.
Good thing no one called him a “hymie”.
