Just contacted Chris Carney's office, 10th district Pennsylvania, my representative. Took me about 20 minutes to get through, as the line was busy, and when I did get through, the conversation lasted approximately 5 seconds. I said I was a constituent of Representative Carney's, wanted to make my voice heard, and the lady on the phone asked me what my zipcode was. I told her and she replied in a delivery that would make an auctioneer proud, "Thank you very much, I'll pass this along", to which I replied, "I didn't tell you want I wanted to say". I suppose she didn't hear any of that, because the line went dead immediately after she spoke. Anyone else attempting to contact their representatives get the same kind of treatment?
Maybe EVERYONE is calling in opposition to this so they’re just counting calls.
What is your zip code? Maybe I’ll try calling, too.
Here is an excerpt from a recent statement Carney has made.
As Ive said throughout this debate, I will judge every plan based on whether it increases affordability, denies insurers the option of rejecting people with preexisting conditions and enables people to take their insurance with them when they change jobs. We must also protect coverage for our seniors and ensure that federal funds cant go to pay for abortions.

Call back and cuss her out! These people work for us.
We elect them, and then they and their staff treat us with complete and utter contempt.
That’s right: “WE ELECT THEM.”
I cannot get through on the 800 numbers, I get a recording that says the numbers are “invalid”...which I know they aren’t. I can get through on my reps 202 number.
Anybody else get the invalid message from
