According to experts, the belief among some Muslims that the US singles out Muslims and wages war on Islam specifically are to blame for the radicalization of homegrown, American terrorists like Jihad Jane and her newly exposed comrade, Jihad Jamie. Both womenJihad Jane, aka Colleen LaRose from Pennsylvania and Jamie Paulin-Ramirez from Coloradoare only the latest cases of homegrown terrorists operating domestically, but they're part of a larger rash of a recent uptick in the number of Americans or legal, US residents who blend in to US society...only to secretly pursue anti-American, terrorist activities. So what exactly is their problem? How did these American women, to focus on just a couple, get this way, exactly? A belief that the US is singling out Muslims specifically and waging war specifically on Islam itself may have a lot to do with their radicalization.

I like the other theory better.
You know. The “Stupid-Bitches-With-Their-Heads-Up-Their-Asses” theory.
That one.

Nonsense and BS:
Islam Jihadist attacked first, and they should therefore be pursued until annihilated! End Of Story.
Only a treasonous lib-tard could say other wise. IMHO

Good opinion.
No need to be humble about it.

I understand that the reasons why people turn toward terrorism are important to intelligence agencies in aiding them to infiltrate and prevent future acts.
However, when someone is proven to be aiding and abetting terriorism against the US then lets cut the psychobabble short and either toss them into prison to rot or execute them.

Yepers -A good suggestion - but only if all Jihadist worldwide would assemble into one area, at one time, and report their assemblage in a public manner.

I think it would be a tactical error to comment further, until an assessment can be made on the probability of ALL Jihadist gathering in one place, and making it publicly known.

They’re clearly batty. Narcissists, plus whatever else. (Jihad Jane’s family said she couldn’t keep up relationships.)

Since Mad Mo crawled out of the bat cave, muslims have ALWAYS felt this way, and they will do so until the entire world converts to their insane murder cult.

"In my mind, the common link here that shows profiling works is the fact that both women...hold on here...displayed...yes, it's coming...Islamist behavior and were Muslim. They wore that oh-so fashionable accessory of Muslim women everywherea hijabwanted to kill people who had "offended" the prophet Mohammed, and expressed sympathy with the "suffering" of Muslims the world over. If you profile according to these behavioral characteristics of Islamists, you'd get the terrorists every time, be they Caucasian or Arab."
The money lines in the article and the solution to how you profile. It's not about race, it's about ideaology...

If we're going to go to hollywood to find a leader to running the WOT, we shouldn't pick Col Kurtz. If we want to go with a military leader, we should pick General Patton. If we wanted to go with a Brando character, it has to be Don Corleone. Remember, Col Kurtz quit in the end. He couldn't handle the pressure and had Martin Sheen (aka Capt Willard) kill him. We don't need a quitter... : )
