To assist in the effort to deliver justice for Army Ranger 1st Lt. Michael Behenna, the Edmond, Okla., native who is serving a 15-year sentence at Fort Leavenworth after being convicted of unpremeditated murder in the May 16, 2008, shooting death of a known Al-Qaeda operative in Iraq, I designed the Unofficial Defend Michael Brochure shown.
Pu-leaze! Dont try to lecture me about integrity, truth, or honor, this from someone who came on this thread trying to smear Behenna as a cold calculated killer who took some Iraqi to a ditch to execute him. I had you pegged from the get go, and called you on it, and then you tried to obfuscate what you implied. It’s all about ‘truth’ my FRiend, and I clearly see that it’s not something you value.
Mr David Masters is it? Hope not...anyway...One, you’ll never understand because you’ve never been in combat, much less served I think. Two, somebody else has already verified my position has not changed yet you start jumping up n dowmn like some brat kid throwing a fit. You dont care about truth but just what your “truth” is. People like you are incapable of evolving and therefore are a waste of time and effort. Again, the cancer which eats at our country.
Witt, surely you can see the difference between a soldier engaged in combat, killing the enemy with collateral damage in the heat of battle, carrying out his mission, and unjustly accused for doing so - and an officer who has been ordered to take a POW home, but calmly and deliberately instead takes matters into his own hands by taking him somewhere else for whatever reason.
You feel Behenna deserves his fate, well I don't, I support him and his family for their service to this country, and will continue to do so as long as there's hope his case can be appealed, if you think his cause and my support for it is a waste of time for you, then go to some other site where you can continue to smear him, I won't put up with it on this one.
The fact that he died in the custody of Behenna is the issue and how and why he died and if Behenna should be charged with his murder rather than what he and an expert witness, not allowed to testify, claims was self defense, and considering this was an Iraqi terrorist we're dealing with here who already killed some of our troops, I'll gladly defer to Behenna's side, rather than the dead Iraqi terrorist side. Behenna deserves a medal, not imprisonment.
