Krauthammer reacts to Chief Justice Roberts response to Obama going after the Supreme Court as they sat in front of him at the State of the Union, "It was a break of protocol and decorum, and it was an insult. You sit there and you don't expect to be attacked as the court was...I hope that next year there are nine empty seats at the State of the Union Address, that would be the appropriate

I hope so, too.
At the time, I commented that the speech given was not an SOTU speech, but a campaign speech. Its entire content was inappropriate.
Better YET... how about they actually HEAR an Obama eligibility case, just to put the issue to rest???
Agree, unless the Chicago crook is impeached and we have a different and more intelligent president. Lets hope that wouldn’t be Biden or Pelousy. If the Republicans gain a majority in November it would be John Boehner.
After the criticism they received after the Bush #2 Election #1? I doubt that will happen - they are too scared.
Thanks FRiend. I knew Justice Thomas wasn’t there but I didn’t realize that 3 had taken a pass. I didn’t watch it. That’s a good sign. Next year, I hope they all stay home. Adults shouldn’t have to put up with the nonsense these SOTU Shows have become. From what I’ve read and heard, the last one was like a lost episode of “Pee Wee’s Playhouse”.
They should decline to attend—or walk out when insulted—so should all of the GOP members—or yell crys of “You Lie!” The old rules are gone—lets play things the way the DNC does.
Three did not attend: J. Stevens (dude may be dead; no one has seen him move since 2007); J. Scalia (doubtless pleading sanity); and J. Thomas (better things to do like washing hair).
I'd say at least two more will unattend next year bringing the total to five, unless they declare J. Stevens' corpse ineligible and replace it (odds on the nominee being openly gay?).
OOps....yeah that’s what I meant...LOL....Thanks for the correction....
