Out of A-stan in 30 days? Is Kucinich nuts? What would we do with all the military hardware in the AoR? Give it to the Taliban?
Stupid, stupid, stupid, pipe dream, out-of-touch-with-reality.

And the funny thing was he was “recognized” as the gentlmen from Massachusetts and he had to correct her and say Rhode Island.
Couple more years and he’ll be fat, an alcoholic, and rape or kill someone.. gotta keep up the family name.

Its sheer, cynical, rabble-rousing, playing-to-the-crowds politics. The sponsors of this bill know full well it would be physically impossible to pull all the troops out of Afghanistan in that timescale, even if it were advisable - and it certainly would NOT be advisable to tell the taliban that such a thing was planned.
BUT, by putting this bill forward they can establish a trendy reputation as "peacelovers" and moral anti-war warriors, while at the same time implying their opponents (basically anyone with any logic) are unreasoning warmongers who are ok with women and children being blown up and US soldiers coming home in bodybags to grieving relatives. I hate that kind of play. Its manipulative, its cynical and its unfair. Shame on them.

It’s a shame, because with a little training he could have been a pretty good second shift manager at the Dunkin Donuts in Pawtucket.

I was kinda thinking the same thing...a guy whose medication ran low and he didn’t realize it.
But here’s the thing...how many senators and congressmen have a serious mental disease and take medication daily? How many should be in a mental institute?

furiously shouting that “shameful” US policy was needlessly putting soldiers in harm’s way in Afghanistan.

I agree, more fire power and bigger bombs would keep them out of harms way

Details, details..not something Kucinich has ever bothered with.
