Yesterday the news began to leak out that today's PPP poll for the Republican Nomination for Florida Senator would be "challenging" for Governor Crist. Challenging is not the word for it. According to Public Policy Polling if the election were held today, Marco Rubio would get 60% of the vote vs only 28% for Governor Crist. The poll is actually much worse for Crist than those particular numbers.

DAYUM!
“A clear majority of GOP voters said they want to see Crist out of public office altogether a year from now. Another 19 percent say he should run again for governor, but the poll shows Crsit would lose in a primary to state Attorney General Bill McCollum, who is running to succeed Crist, by 14 points.”
Now if Arizona primary voters can get their rear ends in gear...
Charlie took a fiscally balanced State and ran it into the ground with his pet rail systems that will be state subsidized after the first year and progressive property taxes that keep going up (liar!). Oh yeah, and the stimulus BS that Florida will have to raise taxes to pay for after next year. Nice going Governor!
We have to beat Juan McCain. I am sick that many RINOs are supporting McCain.
McCain is worse than Crist. I do not think Crist is a bad guy - McCain is a bad person. Crist does not stab conservatives in the back.
It’s just not looking good for Gouverneur L’Orange.
bttt
OMG you’re joking, right? He is every bit as bad or worse than McCain.
Down 32 points, he’s a Cristi critter!

Sometimes you just gotta make it happen! ;)
Power of positive thinking!
I could never vote for either, but I have to admit that Crist does not nauseate me in the way that McQueeg does.
They both are equally detestable in my view.
That’s a good nickname for him.
I think this poll is way off. Rubio is ahead by 10-15 points, but not by 32%. Also the pollster is wishing Crist to switch to the Dems or run as an independent.
I’ve been watching this Republican political opportunist here in Florida for decades, paying his dues, losing elections, until finally the perfect storm arose and he was elected governor. He has never seemed like anything more than a wanna-be career politician. I can’t fathom the conceit and arrogance which made him think he could ever win this Senate seat, and I will be gratified to see his political career come to an end when his term as governor expires. He has always reminded me of lukewarm water, with no passion or identifiable principles, certainly not conservative ones...
