Hollywood may have gone to war, but the Academy Awards Red Carpet was filled with peace and serenity, showy outfits and spectacular ensembles. It was a very good turn out. Much class and style. A good showing and many stars this year.

I had not wateched the Oscars since the Clinton years. I was pleasantly suprised that there wasn’t any political, conservative bashing clap trap going on.

Penelope Cruz, a true beauty.
Who's the sourpuss in the background?

That beauty in the red dress looks suspiciously like Agnes Mishkin.
To: Rummyfan
That color is terrific for Penelope Cruz. And she has wonderful posture.
This one is my favorite. I don't know who Anna Kendrick is, but she chose a good dress.

Bigelow looks pretty damned good for a woman pushing sixty...
Better than some of the younger actresses even....

I don’t get it. I like the color, but the design is not very appealing and doesn’t flatter her.

Ms Cruz looks great in that dress. She's so gorgeous, she would look good with nothing on.
But I digress.....

Anna Kendrick is pretty cute.
She is in the Twilight movies and was in Up in the Air (nominated).
To: Rummyfan
No kidding. Amazing for a 59 year old. She could easily pass for 42.
