Shepard Smith didn't get the memo. Shep, why aren't you shrieking at the camera, wringing your hands, blaming the koran?
Liberal whoppers: John Patrick Bedell, the man who went on a shooting spree outside the Pentagon this week, was a Bush-hating, pot smoking, registered democrat. Although officials said he did not have any suspected links to terrorist groups, it was discovered this weekend that Bedell used the Arabic term inshallah or God willing, using Arabic font إن شاء الله on more than one on his internet postings.
The Pentagon shooter, resolving political conflict, inshallah Creeping Sharia
When the initial report of the Pentagon shooting from ABC appeared, it noted that one of the officers heard the shooter utter something:
Police said that he may have uttered something before opening fire, but what he said was unclear.
Most reports now simply state he did not say a word. Why the change? What might he have said?
A Twitter post revealed that John Patrick Bedell had an account on SourceForge containing Jihad code. Looking at the account of jpbedell he used the Arabic term inshallah or God willing, using Arabic font إن شاء الله on more than one page. Here are screenshots from the website and project named openinsurgent.

I knew about the OpenInsurgent software (terrorist training software!) but I never found that post by Bedell.
Good catch by someone.

I use إن شاء الله when I write or speak in Arabic because its culturally correct to do so (Arab Muslims and Christians use the term). I don't do it when I write in English.
Whew. Good thing Christians of all sorts never say “God Willing” or they’d be terrorists for sure. /sarc
I think the point is that the news has been portraying him as an American with no possible terror ties.
Most americans who have not ever been introduced to Islam would never think to use an arab phrase in arabic in their writings.
This suggests that the killer had some tie to the islamic world, or at least the arabic world.
If he was an arab, signing things this way wouldn’t be a big deal.
