To all of you hunters and organic food gatherers (subsistence users) out there, the Alaska Board of Game has ensured that the empty spot on your plate next to the mashed potatoes will be filled with moose or caribou meat.

According to the Anchorage Daily News, yesterday, the Alaska Board and Game ruled 4 to 3 to eliminate the anti-wolf hunting/trapping "buffer zone" that extended beyond the Denali National Park borders.

I personally like wolves! I wish they did not have to be shot! We are talking about a couple hundred wolves that they want to shoot. Where is Ashley Judd on the millions of healthy unwanted dogs that are killed every year by the humane societies and so called shelters for dogs in the USA?

Every US State has some form of animal control, many unhappy things are going on in that regard in every state, why do we not see Ashley in tv ads about the other 56 states?

We all know the answer, it`s because of her hatred for Sarah Palin. If Sarah was a pro choice Democrat, Ashley would not have made any effort to try and save the wolves.

One's fondness for large predators varies proportionally with distance. If Alaska had a trap-and-release program for wolves that let them go in downtown Seattle, people whould have a different attitude about them.

Hey, let me take this opportunity to issue an apology on behalf of Ashley (this is what Democrats do ~ apologize for others).

I'm sure she is very sorry she failed to bring in 200 wolves to her home, but would like to take this opportunity to apologize for that ~ and everything is now good.

BTW, that doesn't mean she's going to let those wolves in the door, but she's apologized for her behavior.
