From the time Senate Candidate Barack Obama made his first national speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, millions have been fawning over his supposed intelligence. Effectively reading a well written speech does require a certain skill set but true intelligence should not be measured by theatrical speech patterns or the timbre of one's voice. It is most commonly measured by one's ability to solve problems and in this area, Mr. Obama comes off worse than the proverbial mouse solving the maze to find the cheese.

Obama’s ability to solve problems is like a hamster on the wheel.
By putting his name on the bill, maybe he thinks he can take the heat off Congress come November.
I think you’re right. And I think, sadly, that his election, will ultimately be a blow to black Americans because he will be seen as a failure or worse. The bad thing is there ARE black Americans who I think could be effective Presidents. Sowell, Williams to name but two.
The problem with Americans is that most of them are busy living their lives and they don’t pay attention until things are so bad they are difficult to do anything about. BTW I love you’re name!
Thanks!
In all seriousness, I keep wondering if we’re facing a “Battle of Midway” moment where literally the entire course of the war turns on ten minutes of divine intervention. IMO Americans shouldn’t have to pay this much attention to the wranglings of an internal enemy bent on the destruction of the Republic and the denial of popular sentiment. We thought we had morals. We thought we had ethics. We thought we were operating under the rule of law. As we’re seeing, there is no rule of law when there is no enforcement.
no doubt, of COURSE there are black Americans wayyyyyy smart enough to do the job. of course! but conservatives would weigh up their credentials against others without reference to their skin color. if they say something smart, we’d say, “hey that’s smart”. if they say something stupid, we’d say, “hey that’s stupid.” yes, we would get called racist on the latter, but, well what’s new?
I hadn’t thought of it that way, but yes, I hope that’s what we are seeing.
Exactly.
Thanks for the input. It is so true about the man.
