0bama could have easily and inexpensively settled the first case questioning his eligibility (Berg ?). Twenty bucks or so would have done it. Maybe one of his loyal trolls here on FR can provide us with a valid reason why he fights every attempt to get to the bottom of the BC thingie.

That's what I've been saying. When I needed my birth certificate, all I had to do was fill out a simple form and send it with a check for $10 and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the state. I received my certificate in less than 2 weeks (maybe 10 days or so). The quickness with which I received my copy kinda surprised me. I had applied around Christmas and figured with all the holidays and state employees taking vacation, I might get the certificate in about a month or more.

Anyway, at least here in PA, it's easy and cheap to get your birth certificate. That Obama would have this cadre of lawyers fighting the production of his birth certificate tooth and nail over something that could be so easily resolved makes the whole question of his origin suspect. What does he have to gain by perpetuating this controversy? Except maybe to feed his narcissism — keep that aura of mystery about him or something. Stupid. No, it has to be more than that.

Obama didn't just fight this using private attorneys.

No! Obama **wasted** and **misused** U.S. attorneys and distracted them from their important job of going after the bad guys! He did this at a time when plots were being made to massacre our soldiers on their bases and recruitment centers and blow planes filled with civilians out of the sky!
