Mr. Klein, I'm certain, is so confident in his rhetorical skills that he believes that we'll never catch on to how he feels about non-Obama fans out here. Years ago I worked at a newspaper, and I would frequently say to reporters, "I saw your article on Smith. You really gave it to him! That guy must be quite a jerk."
And the reporter would blink and ask, "You could tell?? I thought I was very neutral in that piece!"
