The kiss of death was when Obama bet a case of beer on the U.S. The ONE has a dead fish touch.

(If leftist legislation that's already in place really can't be ended by non-leftists, then what?)
To: RGirard

God loves Canadians a lot, that is why HE directs their leaders and people of wealth to the United States for their health care.

Considering the fact that a Canadian team has not won the Stanley Cup in 17 years, I would say the answer is no.
Sorry, but the Olympics don't interest me that much since they started using professionals. Had the U.S. have defeated the Canadians today, it still would have paled in comparison to the 1980 U.S. hockey win.

The winning team gets to have their flag raised and their national anthem played for all the world to watch and hear. Both have songs which glorify God (see related articles) but does one team or country glorify God more than other? Does one have his blessing and another his curse? ... The U.S. won gold in other events. Maybe God is more a 4 man bobsled fan than a hockey fan?

Hmm...I don’t know if I’d base a lot of theology on a hockey game, but I knew we were in the End Times when the men’s curling team got iced.

"he ONE has a dead fish touch." He did get the NCAA Men's basketball tournament right last year. It appears he's just a one sport pony.

Does God love Canada more? Just for today, in some small way.

“since they started using professionals”
guess you never noticed that all through the 60s and 70s the USSR totally dominated international and Olympic ice hockey by using their “professional” all-star teams paid for full careers out of their military budgets
other teams had to go up against them with 21-22 year old “student” and “amateur” teams while the Soviets were allowed to field their pro all-star teams that were able to beat NHL teams in exhibition games..... with the sole exception of that 1980 “Miracle on Ice” is was a ridiculous and dishonest situation which was perpetuated for many years..... I for one was very glad when other countries were allowed to field their “best” teams
