SEIU chief Andy Stern named to debt panel
The American Thinker ^ | February 27, 2010 | Rick Moran

If the president is going to pack the panel with cronies, how "independent" is it going to be?

Chris Good of the Atlantic:

"Oddly enough, SEIU actually lobbied against the creation of a bipartisan deficit commission when it was being considered in the Senate, concerned with the quasi-binding nature of the suggestions that would have been offered under that commission--the Senate bill required congressional leaders to introduce the commission's proposals, which would be produced as a bill, for up-or-down votes in their respective chambers. Under Obama's commission, Congress isn't bound to vote on its proposals: lawmakers can tweak them, allow for amendments, or reject them outright..."

As Glenn Beck so accurately pointed out.....putting Stern on this “board”, knowing full well how much damage the unions have done and are doing to the financial health of this country, simply shows that Obama isn’t serious at all about debt reduction.

I’ll add to that...it also shows how much Stern “owns” Obama. It’s disgusting.

I don’t see what business this is of the SIEU, unless it’s a tacit admission that the labor unions own the Democratic party.

I am glad to see we got people in there serious about cutting budgets and there are no politics involved.

Presdent Obama has been picking perverts , tax dodgers, phonies, racists, and other cronies since he got into ofice.

Did anyone really expect him to pick someone who could do the job here?

The gov’t unions fear budget cuts as they are a threat to growing the union’s ranks.

So, Obama puts Stern on the panel to ensure no suggestions for deficit reduction threaten gov’t unions.

The similarities to Greece are chilling.

They will raise taxes, cut defense and grow government. Your average Democrat insanity.

Yup. When Obama was running, I said "He'll raise taxes" and they replied "No, he said only on those making more than $250,000". I just laughed. I told her "Democrats always lie to get elected but they always raise taxed. Every single time, every single time. Come up with one at a national level who hasn't. Obama will do it more than most." Here it comes.

They are going to try for a VAT tax in the lame duck congress in December. Maily to finance government unions and pensions.

Of course they do - them and the trial lawyers. That is why Obama cannot and will not make serious changes to Obamacare - he is 100% in the pockets of lobbyists and financiers.

John Fund says the whole thing is a scheme to call for a lame duck congress in December to pass big tax hikes.

The Purple Shirted SEIU Thugs are Barry's version of Hilter's Brown Shirted SA.

'Thankfully', Himmler wised up Hitler to Ernst Röhm's real goals (perpetual Socialist Revolution) and Adolph had the SA .. uh .. 'disbanded' (snicker) with the help of the SS. Of course it didn't help that in a drunken rage Röhm yelled that Hitler was becoming too moderate and he either changed or 'had to go for Treason'. Not exactly a smart thing to say in a crowded restaurant.

Another similarity between the SEIU and SA is membership. The SA was 4.5 Million strong at the end, and the SEIU membership is now about the same.

When and/or if the Purple Shirted SEIU Thugs hit the streets en masse, it's time to Lock & Load, and smoke em if ya got em.

Obama is NOT trying to “fix” ANYTHING!!!

He is using any mechanism available to destroy America.

He simply wants control of citizens and the economy to maintain power and undermine America's standing in the world.
THAT is the net effect of destroying our healthcare system, paying other countries for the privilege of stifling our energy production, and placing our country in irreconcilable debt.

"Huh? Where've you been boy?"

"Living in a cave, or in a Coma?"

No offense, but the SEIU (Andy Stern) OWNS Obama lock, stock and barrel.
And the AFl-CIO (unions) have OWNED the RAT party since FDR could walk.

LOL, no offense taken. (Although your Foghorn needs a little more South in his accent!) I realise that what you say is true. But have you ever heard a Dem admit it? I think it’s interesting if they do, even in an oblique way.
