America has always been a beacon of hope and freedom throughout the world. As Lady Liberty raises her torch on the horizon, the American Tea Party movement has inspired the citizens of Great Britain to join the cause of less taxation and less government intrusion in our lives.
Daniel Hannan, a British politician and member of the European Parliament, has taken the reigns to begin the British Tea Party. He has been an outspoken voice of less taxes and responsible government in Great Britain this past year. I applaud Mr. Hannan for having the bravery to speak out against a government that is sinking into the abyss of financial ruin as it drags it citizens along with it.

I wish them luck, but in Europe, taking stands for less intrusion and more freedom usually gets you thrown in jail, or at least marginalized as a Nazi.
But still...they really do need to start doing something.
Good! It’s time the hard working Brits stood up and complained about their tax money going to fund their own enemies.

The darker the night the brighter the light !
GOOD. They should target the Muslims there too.
There is quite a lot of resistance to Labourite government right now but it is fragmented. The BNP, the EDL, the UKIP, some Tories like Hannan, etc. And you’re right - the “Anti-Fascist League” tries to depict those groups as storm troopers re-incarnate when they swing into action.
I think the British are wising up and Labour is in for a worse bloodbath than the Democrats this year. More and more people are getting fed up with big-government non-solutions.
BTW, today the British press carried a report of extreme Muslim infiltration of the Labour Party. That should be the final nail in the left’s coffin for now, at least.
It’s good to see a similar movement taking place in Great Britain but the flaw in the British version is it has one leader who can be targeted whereas our Tea Party movement doesn’t have a single leader who can be a targeted by socialists.
Sweet - thanks for the link.
...and no surprise.
they need a revolution too.
I spotted the same thing.
Hannan is good but it is too great a risk to have the crappy Brit press run the movement down as “Hannan’s group.”
Grass roots is clearly the way to go but maybe it’s not possible in this case. There are several small, patriotic parties that might be interested in getting involved in the Tea Party.
I have a buddy in Manchester who keeps me posted on this stuff. A big BNP supporter. (I’m trying to show him that they have too many socialistic traits but he loves their patriotism.)
I applaud them taking a stand. Perhaps a visit to Boston Harbor will do them good.
Thank you for that link,
Its unbelievable that a group like this is even permitted to exist.
Tolerance has its limits and they should start at self-preservation.
There are some very outspoken groups on the right in Britain. The English Defence League takes a lot of flak but I really like their spunk.
Whoever had the idea of politicizing soccer hooligans and turning them onto patriotism was onto something. I think they have the substance - they just need to work on style a bit. The EDL is decidedly NOT fascist or racist - check their YT vids. They go so far as to burn Nazi flags and minorities are welcome if they are true to England. But Muslims would not feel comfortable unless they genuinely renounce every shred of hate contained in Islam. And I doubt that is even possible.
Watch out for “Anti-Fascist” propaganda against the EDL, BNP, and probably the Tea Party by now. It’s a load of Muslim-inspired, commie-tinged crap.
The Muslims will eventually receive the kind of reception they deserve.
“There is quite a lot of resistance to Labourite government right now but it is fragmented.”
Isn’t it true that the Brits have a really, really long fuse but when it gets lit it is frightful.
