I have. The GOProud crap* put me over the edge. Actually I’ve noticed it creep into my typing fingers more lately.
I used to have a very, very bad mouth years ago when I was young (and did other bad things).
I was thinking lately I should watch my words a bit more and I take this thread as a pointer that I should.

You and me both. (And I'm a woman.) There were times I could've made a sailor blush with the language I used. Not often. Only when I was trying to scare someone off. I learned it at school (certainly not at home) as a survival tactic. Now, as a parent myself, I look back and cringe at some of the things I said. If you ever met me now, you would never guess... I try to be very careful as a parent, though I've slipped a few times.
I don't think I've ever typed profanity on an internet forum. I'm on your ping list, and I don't remember noticing you posting profanity. It probably wasn't very bad. But, it's good for us to keep ourselves in check, anyway.
