CA Parental Control Software Blocks FR as HATE site but allows DU site to go through

I just wanted to inform you that one of the computers I have at home has COMPUTER ASSOCIATES' SECURITY CENTER installed on it as part of the package I have with my recent Internet and cable service provider -- CABLEVISION.

This is the CA SECURITY CENTER VERSION 4.0.0.205

Now, everytime I try to access FR on this computer, it blocks me with the following reason :

I have to override it by entering an administrative password to temporarily allow the FR site to go through my browser.

Out of curiosity, I tried going to the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND site and lo and behold, the CA Parental Control software ALLOWED the site with no problems.

Just wanted you people to be aware of this double standard.

Yea, well you know the mods can only do so much, personal attacks against fellow freepers imo are way more common here than profanity, the church lady comment I stole from another poster who used it earlier on in this thread, I felt it was apropos so I repeated it.

I would venture to say that you seem to possess a more reasonable and personable demeanor than the rest of your FRiends here on this thread. If anyone might be considered a true church lady in Spirit, it would have to be you. I salute you.

No, I asked the mod why they locked the thread when it was not a religious thread, and that’s when they told me they were also serving as an admin mod. When you want to know the truth about something, you ask questions, try it sometime.
