Folks and Friends at Free Republic
I just wanted to inform you that one of the computers I have at home has COMPUTER ASSOCIATES' SECURITY CENTER installed on it as part of the package I have with my recent Internet and cable service provider -- CABLEVISION.
This is the CA SECURITY CENTER VERSION 4.0.0.205
Now, everytime I try to access FR on this computer, it blocks me with the following reason :

I have to override it by entering an administrative password to temporarily allow the FR site to go through my browser.
Out of curiosity, I tried going to the DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND site and lo and behold, the CA Parental Control software ALLOWED the site with no problems.
Just wanted you people to be aware of this double standard.

I say not much, you say PLENTY. I haven't seen a lot, certain words I have never seen, you say you have, fine. We apparently have different experiences here and have different definitions of what profanity actually is. Yes FR is an adult site, but it is not anywhere near what one might call 'some hate site full of profanity', well some might call it that but not me. Guess you and I will have to agree to disagree on this one. You are a worthy adversary in a discussion. Have a good nite.

I am posting them again because you said that you have never seen those words on FR and they are PROOF that they have been used on FR. You asked for proof from several people, I gave it to you, you didn’t want it and now after having the proof you have still NEVER seen it on FR. You are unreal.
I would really like to hear your explaination for these too contradictory statements. I would also like for you to tell us again that you aren’t a liar.

If you want to argue about something on another thread, then take it over there where it belongs and I'll be more than happy to engage you on it, this thread is about FR being a hate site 'allegedly' full of profanity. I have yet to see that evidence.

No one said it was a hate site filled with profanity. I said you could find curse words on here and the proof has been given to you already. In one of those statement you say you are black. In the other you refer to as their race not YOUR race. We aren’t arguing over what is in the other threads. We are discussing the fact that you are a liar. Remember you don’t post in a vacuum.

What is a former vet, and why are you claiming to be one? If you were, at one time, a military veteran, how did you stop being one? Are you using the word "vet" to mean something other than a military veteran? Are you saying you used to be a veterinarian?
Implications my dear, implications, the thread is about FR being blocked as a hate site. You then chimed in there are curse words and not just some but PLENTY of them on FR. Oh really? So what was your point? FR is a profanity ridden hate site that deserves to be blocked? You think one might not get that was the impression you were trying to make? Well I did, so naturally I challenged you on it.
I have not seen certain words until you showed them to me, what does that say about FR that after 7 years of posting thousands of posts and reading probably thousands of threads, that that is the first time I have seen those particular words on FR. Doesn't prove in any way that there has been a glut of them either or I would've certainly seen them on my own. In my youth, I used to love this song called "Going in Circles' this is what we're doing here now.
