Not only do many “chase ambulances”, it might be true that many want to be their own “ambulance chaser”. Many lawyers make a lofty living off soft tissue and other “injuries” and many judges allow ridiculous verdicts. Perhaps it is too tempting to miss an opportunity to benefit from direct lawsuits of their own.
