The Democrats winning the presidential election and double filibuster-proof majority saved the Republican party... for now.
When you begin worshipping the messenger and not the message we become vulnerable for a fall and in this case that involve losing our way of life
~I like you!
Or perfect candidate. Politics is dirty. It always has been, and always will be.
There's a lot of frustration, fear and anger building up. Beck is capitalizing on it and it's uncertain what his goal is.
The Democrats will work behind the scenes to divide the vote on the right, pushing third party candidates and trying to widen chasms among conservatives and independents. No one should underestimate the lengths to which they'll go to achieve that end.
If the anger and fear aren't channeled constructively to stop the bleeding by taking control of the house and gaining seats in the Senate within the structure of the two-party system, the future will be twice as bleak.
We may never have another opportunity, if we fail and the party of mass destruction continues to have its way.
Good post.
Beck treads dangerous water, I think; and too casually invites other to do same, by his constant damning of Repub Party. Per 'third Party; it is not just what he implies; but what he does not say; whereby you feel a 'void' opening and the unspoken invite hanging over it./sigh. . . Wondering if he did not in fact, vote for 'Ron Paul' at C-Pak convention.
That said; while I admire a great deal of what Beck does; don't believe in making 'gurus' - as per the Left and 'The ONE' - either. No message is perfect. 'Dangerous' another matter; and any ideas that imply viable 'third Party' options; are dangerous.
This is what the Tea Party revolution is all about, in it's essence. We are tired of these constant Hobson’s choices thrust upon us election after election, which are almost always made by activists and the politicians themselves, who are recipients of systemic, endemic corruption they themselves have brought about, and aided and abetted by a willing and compliant media that has long since ceased be objective or critical in any sense of the word. These "choices" invariably lean in one direction, and one direction only, and do not reflect well or accurately on the electorate at large.
To put it bluntly, we are rapidly approaching the breaking point. Excusing today's politics, which are really yesterday's politics, as something to be done and accepted because that's the way it's always been done, and besides, your betters have already decided for you, so GET WITH THE PROGRAM, is not what 21st century politics should be in America.
We're not doing it that way any more. That's why there's a war in that threatens - these numbskulls refuse to listen to us!
Extraordinary times require extraordinary measures. You apparently cannot see the lurch of history coming down the pike at the establishment. So be it. But when it hits, you cannot say you were not warned, that you were unaware, or that it really means nothing.
This is history unfolding, as few have ever witnessed it. Given that, it appears you'll either do the right thing and help make history, or...just plain be history.
CA....
Learn some English composition first. Then come back and bash Beck all you want.
Beck is the guy standing on your sidewalk, screaming at you that your house is on fire. Sorry if you want to roll over and catch some more shuteye.
Perot gave us Clintoon....just like the third party votes in Minn gave us Freakin...
its popular among the "conservative" media ....maybe not Rush....to bash Pubs more than the evil and corrupt demons....
I don't get it but maybe Beck worries about job security...if Pubs and conservatives take over WashingtonDc then it'll take the wind out of Becks sails and then he wouldn't be able to sell a million books and have sold out shows....
Savage does the same thing...
I don't trust Beck.....
