Could Glen Beck Be The Key To Pairing Losses For The Left? (Third Party Disaster)
feb22 | CSN

Posted on 02/22/2010 12:02:25 PM PST by Three if by government

Beck gave an entertaining speech the other night at CPAC. Some very emotional parts that touched the hearts of many Americans.

If your a regular listener to him on radio you understand how he attacks both parties as the same.

This is why as much as you love him, hang on every word he may be the greatest asset to the Obama's agenda.(Ironic)

If we use a utopian view (unrealistic) of party to fracture ourselves we are doomed.

There is no perfect party the American people have spoke out and over the past year the Republicans are listening and the ones who haven't or have such fractured past in support of big government policies like a McCain they must be defeated.

But on the flip side how come Beck didnt speak in support of the ones who have always been resolute and are the future leaders of the conservative movement?(Rubio, Demint, Bachmann,Pence)

I am sorry Glenn while I am a free market capitalist and think every American should have the right to make as much as someone is willing to pay you seem to be supporting a strategy that will lead to a loss of freedom and opportunity for me and my family which I cannot afford.

I dont have millions saved up to weather a storm that will come about if Obama's policies survive based on splitting the Republican vote.

I will follow the principles of our founding and free market principles to the end what I will not do is follow a talk show host off the cliff whatever his motives; good or bad.

If you are for a third party just come out and say it instead of trying to steer your audience.

Isn't that your motto" speak without fear speak the truth". Are you a third party supporter or not?

I am sorry folks I know many of you on this site are very sensitive to any criticism of Beck but its not about him its about the future existence of our way of life and the strategy for defeating Obama's policies.

When you begin worshipping the messenger and not the message we become vulnerable for a fall and in this case that involve losing our way of life.

Beck chose to use his hour speech to attack Republicans collectively many are the same ones who are listening to the American people.

If we dont win this battle in November and refuse to unify all republicans based on conservative values we will never again have the opportunity for the long fight of reversing this progressive assault on our Constitution he emphasizes on a daily basis.

This country is not about one man or personality as is currently the case of the left it is based on the principles of our founding period.

We cant afford to split apart in order to massage someone's ego we need to unite to fight the enemies of liberty; the current power base of the democrat party this November.

We cant afford to lose this political battle keep your eye on your principles and goals ; less on the messanger especially ones who are drawn to the letter "I".

Believe me I dont need Beck to tell me we are in trouble I am not a total moron.
To think that this man is the only one preaching this is utterly insane and a sign of hero worshipping.

Better analogy is Beck is standing on the sidewalk, screaming at you your house is on fire and will give you ten bucks to run back inside.

Beck for all I know could be another Perot...an oddity attracting just enough attention/votes away from a Pub to elect a Dim....

Perot gave us Clintoon....just like the third party votes in Minn gave us Freakin...

its popular among the "conservative" media ....maybe not Rush....to bash Pubs more than the evil and corrupt demons....

I don't get it but maybe Beck worries about job security...if Pubs and conservatives take over WashingtonDc then it'll take the wind out of Becks sails and then he wouldn't be able to sell a million books and have sold out shows....

Savage does the same thing...

I don't trust Beck.....

“...just look at the churlish and childish attitude he displayed when Scott Brown won...”

How ironic then that Brown’s first vote out of the gate is to side with the Dems and vote yes to the ‘jobs bill’.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Karen.
I was wondering how long it was going to be before someone brought that vote up.

And you’re surprised at that? If you are you’re clueless about politics. Anyone who expected Scott Brown to be a movement conservative was fooling themselves. He was elected by independents in MA and will stand for re-election in 2 years. He’ll be there for most votes but he has to show his independence. Am I happy about that? No, but it beats the hell out of having Teddy Kennedy or one of his proteges in that seat.

I’m not from Delaware but I understand Christine O’Donnell is the conservative alternative. By the way, don’t shoot the messenger. I’m not any happier about this situation than you are, but recognizing the problem is the first step in fixing it, and the primary process is going to be our friend.
