All I am hearing now from this wonderful conference at CPAC where many patriots came out and spoke to the heart of how we can work together to stop the Obama agenda are the results of this straw poll.
These people dont represent a bunch of kooks like the left and to see that a man like Ron Paul win a poll that represented this event is all a bunch of nonsnese (results were booed) that is intended to undermine us.
I dont know how they came up with the numbers but my gut tells me that the left co opted this poll now is all over the media with it.
Listening to WABC radio and AP news they announced a new leader coming out of CPAC out of all things why would they be so enthusiastic about announcing a worthless poll?
I am sorry folks dont buy into this crap the American people who want change in November arent looking for a kook like Ron Paul and his people to lead it.
Trust me and your instincts the left will do anything to throw us off our game and in this case the straw poll was the first target. How else to split us apart than to push these results?
Now they can go around and tag all us a bunch of loons especially when it comes to Paul's outrageous comments on foreign policy and his attacks on the CIA and FBI.
The gay conservative incident was another example of the left sending people out to undermine our traditional values. We accept all people but not the extent that we need to change the laws of our religion and principle of our party.
Stay resolute keep your eye on the prize and dont fall for this goal to discourage us from making real change come November.
If they can get this man in office they can rig and influence a straw poll or send some people out to disrupt our convention that is made to make us look like something we are not.
Was the poll still open Saturday? I didn’t see it. Couldn’t attend Thursday and Friday.
Not surprisingly, the next POTUS Palin was smart enough not to be there, and no other serious conservative ever will be again.
Remember that over half the attendees were under 25. Ron Paul plays well to conservative student activists.
The results were met with anger by the crowd there is not doubt the left influenced it to divide us and mock us in the media. Not sure when it was closed.
The media can bark all they want about Ron Paul--nobody outside us political addicts even knows who he is.
Not buying it Jim he the results were booed also the media is too excited by the results. I am too highly trained to fall for this crap.
Regardless, CPAC is finished, based on its RINOism and attempt to integrate gays into Conservative ranks, with predictable results...
CPAC Speaker Gets Booed For Condemning CPAC For Inviting Gay Organization
Checked out GOProud's website...
They are focused like laser beams on gay issues.
If this is CPAC material, CPAC is a fraud.
That being the case, a conservative Republican will definitely distance him/herself from this group of POSERS.
LOL
Thanks for this post. I hope the conservative media will pick up on your very valid points and put this pig in the poke to rest.
Also the gay conservative incident was right out of the lefts playbook to demoralize our side saying the man standing for those rights was booed.
How were the people at the convention vetted what was stopping the left from attending respecting the speeches to make them look conservatives while voting for Paul and booing a man that stood for conservative values?
During the Republican primaries, Ron Paul signs covered yards like snow as we drove for miles and miles in southern PA two years ago.
Also, all the youth in my church are Paulites.
I don’t understand it either, but I think that conservative youth saw the Iraq war as the biggest thumping they got in school and in college. But they still wanted to be conservative. Thus, Paul.
They just want to be cool and want something brand-new and anti-establishment.
Kind of like Goldwater and Reagan.
But they will come around on the defense issue.
I am not buying that tradional values are booed (gay issue) at the conference while a kook like Paul comes out looking the strongest; smells way too much.
Exactly.... I agree with Ron Paul in some areas, but come on! The vetting was obviously non-existent.
KOOK? The Contsitution was Kookish, when it was written.
48% of voters were students (or did they mention under a certain age?, not sure)
Of the 10,000 that attended, approximately 2,400 voted
Any correction to this would be appreciated.
