Sore loser what did he win?
Spot on the young need to learn not just hear what is right.
You won a trip on the Star Ship Enterprise with the rest the other tin hatters.
He won nothing my point being they are using loons like Paul to undermine the massive wave of opposition to this current administration which will come to a head this November.
You are correct about David Keane. He could sell his mother’s soul to the devil and not lose a moment’s sleep. The national Tea Party convention and CPAC were an interesting study in contrasts. Sarah Palin gave the Tea Partiers the star power and national recognition they needed.
No, Thursday and Friday only.
As Clinton once said, I call feel your pain.
“You are correct about David Keane. He could sell his mothers soul to the devil and not lose a moments sleep. “
You’re right about Keene, and he had a lot of help from Grover Norquist to make sure the CPAC crowd was moved toward amnesty.
This CPAC meeting was a pro rino, squishy middle fest.
CPAC betrays America on immigration
[snip]The best example of how CPAC 2010 has failed the conservative movement is CPAC’s attempt to redefine (sabotage would be a more accurate term) the potent issues of illegal immigration and border security. Whereas grass-roots conservatives and millions of 912 patriots along with 80 percent of the American people understand the need for border security as a precondition for immigration reform, CPAC board member Grover Norquist is busy launching a new project in support of the Obama administration’s plan to grant another amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens. Neither border control nor immigration enforcement was included as a topic for any of the CPAC general sessions.

Head Kook nothing more here 82% lifetime conservative voting average.
Who cares about his rating if I remember correctly Mccain had a very high one.
Even if it was 100% anyone that comes out and blames America for all her problems abroad is an anti America especially when you lost love ones in the slaughter of 3000 Americans.
The day of supporting leaders of this nation that will go overseas and apologize for us and rationalizes such horrific events as something secondary is over my friend.
Americanism is on the rise; American bashing is on the decent.
Be careful of those Klingons heard they could be a bitch.
This straw poll diminished my opinion of CPAC. Ron Paul’s win taught me that CPAC is easily hijacked by an extremely small, extremely vocal group. I don’t think the Paulinistas needed any help from liberals on the outside.
Rules for radicals says instead of sending people out to denounce your opponents candidate send people out in support that undermines their ideals.
Hence the gays and Ron Paul issues.
California cant even pass gay legislation in the most left state in the nation. We are to believe that we are the minority just as Beck said while 75% of people are opposed to this legislation. Now we are to feel that conservatives are moving towards the side of gay rights when the liberal reject cmon you know it was a plant.
Judging from the results, I take it that McCain, Collins, Snowe and Graham weren’t in the running.
The only outcome that would have been more ridiculous than Ron Paul would have been Romney for the fourth straight year. As it was, he handily won second place. That convinces me CPAC (and RNC) isn’t planning on any retool of political strategy, and they’re counting on Dems to blow it.
I see what you’re talking about with the Alinsky reference, but it’s entirely possible the CPAC convention picked a kook all on their own.
FR conservatives should just ignore future CPAC conventions. No loss. The organizers have become RINO-diverse.....and I think have sealed their own fate.
As Beck said in his speech....."the BIG TENT???? What are we, a CIRCUS?"
Leni
Strategically this is a stupid move on their part. Better to have your enemy in one place so that you can be targeted. Now they just drive us more underground and less visible...till we show at the ballot box.
