I was just watching Orrin Hatch on Cavuto, he sure was on the defensive. They were showing a great video of Hatch being castigated by a constituent for going along with the spending. I dont remember which congressional race Hatch was talking about but he alluded to a Constitutional Party candidate who took votes away from a Republican, causing the liberal to win.
I think Hatch was right about one thing, we do need to stick together or we will end up with liberals. I think we are going about it the right way now. Conservatives already HAVE a conservative party with a conservative platform. We needed a Hussein to ignite this revolution. We are taking liberals out at the PRIMARIES, just as we need to take out Hatch.
RINOs like McCain, Lindsey Graham, Charlie Crist and Orrin Hatch need to fall on their swords and retire with some shred of dignity or be FORCED into retirement in the primaries.
RINO Hatch has long frustrated conservatives and that love fest he had at the Ted Kennedy funeral was completely disgusting.
Hatch and his ilk need to get out of the way and make room for some conservatism-!
Why is it always assumed the socialist RATs are in lock step with each other? They are coming apart at the seems despite the OP(formerly the GOP) kissing up to them over the years. The Tea party movement is the cause. Hatch and his weak kneed cronies need the Tea Party movement more than the Tea Party movement needs them.
Indeed. It is time for them to go.
McCain is never going to fall on his sword.
This is what Hatch brought up
( Oregon is a Liberal state, they had a moderate Republican senator Gordon Smith with a life time Am. Conservative rating of 72%.)
Voting with Conservatives 72% which is more than a Liberal Democrat is going to.
This last election
Jeff Merkley - D 864,392 49%
Gordon Smith - R 805,159 46%
David Brownlow Constitution Party 92,565 5%
Anti War - 9/11 Truther
The Third Party idiot took the votes from the Republican
and gave the election to a Liberal Democrat who has been voting Obama’s agenda right on through.
Was Orrin a sandwich buddy with Teddy? Just asking?
You cannot possibly be talking about the party of Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Anh Cao, Juan McVain, Bob Dole, and their ilk, can you?
Yes I am talking about the GOP. We are taking it backl from the imposters. Why the hell should WE leave to start a losing party when it is OUR party that was hi-jacked by a minority faction of liberals?
In case you haven’t noticed, there is a revolution taking place and the Arlen Spincters, Snowes, McCains are on their way out. It’s time for us to get off our assets and do something besides whining and losing.
“There is no place in the Republican Party for limited government people.” (Ed Gillespie, then chairman of the RNC.)
The Republican Party is conservative when it’s in opposition, but we’ve seen what happens to it when it gets into poer. Bush was a profligate spender. Except for tax cuts and fighting terrorism, I can’t think of anythign in his record to recommend him. He attempted amnesty, gave us the largest entitlement in 40 years, doubled down on Federal control of education, stuck us with TARP, and did numerous other liberal things — and he’s supposed to be a conservative! And he did most of it with allegedly conservative Republicans controlling Congress. This is what Republians in power look like.
I really am tired of Republibots.
Knowing Orrin, he was probably talking about NY-23. Potomac Republicans like Hatch think anything with an R is owed our votes.
