I am sure they did because they promised Arlen the Spoiler this seat and Arlen may turn back into a Repub if they lied.....or maybe they could offer Arlen the same job they offered Sestak?
See? It is all good.

I knew it was just a matter of time before somebody would come forward to fill Murtha's shoes :-)

Marxists HAVE to be thugs. How successful would some nice guy be if he ASKED everyone to give up all of their rights and property?

Apparently they believe they have the right to meddle in individual state's elections and use the power of the federal government to intimidate and/or bribe as they deem necessary for their own political gains. So what else is new? This has been going on ever since the Progressive era, by both Democrats & Republicans. While I'm not sure about elections, that's definitely the case in the feds controlling state government policies & actions. For example, cutting federal highway funds for not increasing their minimum drinking age to 21 or raising their speed limits, etc.
I'm not saying that's a good thing, far from it. IMO, it's federal blackmail & should be followed up by the states refusing to send tax $ to the feds. The states should fight the feds against the erosion of their sovereignty.

If Sestak (pictures please) becomes the nominee, this will be great ammo for Pat Toomey.

Hey, what can you say, Obama’s from C-h-i-c-a-g-o.....
Translation: Hell, yes Sestak was offered a bribe to get out of the race (and it sounds like the bribe WAS Secretary of the Navy).
