Barack Obama does not believe in commissions. At least this is the impression he left during his presidential campaigns: "Just today, Senator McCain offered up the oldest Washington stunt in the book – you pass the buck to a commission to study the problem."..... We thought Obama will bring leadership – we took him for his word. Instead the President keeps pulling commission after commission out of his sleeves.... Stunt after stunt the trickster-in-chief is throwing dust in eyes of the observers in hope they will think he is actually doing something about the crippling US debt.

President Obama has all the power to reduce the deficit without a commission. He just presented the 2011 budget and inside it we found a fiscal disaster......... The creation of the new commission is a grave sign of coming tax-increases. President needs somebody credible to give him cover for that, because he promised no new taxes on the middle class. Nancy Pelosi hinted few months ago that Value Added Tax (VAT) is coming to America. I had a chance to observe how VAT works back in my native Europe. Please, America, stand against the value added tax. It will raise the prices of everything we consume. Even worst – billions of dollars will be stolen. The VAT demands a lot of paperwork and bureaucracy. In international trade it is usually refunded. It is an avalanche of paperwork and an open invitation to the organized crime. The latest example is the EU cap-and-trade VAT that was hacked by the criminal group and over 4 billion tax-payer dollars were stolen. I will applaud them, only if the NEWS headlines say later today that both ‘Health-Care’ and ‘Cap and Tax’ have been scrapped indefinitely.

Anything less will be seen and treated as a joke

What an idiot.

Drop the commission.
He should go by the great examples set by his predecessors.
The war on poverty, the war on drugs ... the war on debt.. Oh wait.
