Interesting. I've probably received 8-10 shipments in the last 4-5 years, without ever getting such a notice, including a couple in the last couple of weeks. I wonder: the notice refers to "UNAPPROVED PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS." The ones I have ordered may have been approved; they did come from recognized pharmaceutical manufacturers, in some cases in Israel, other times India. Anyway, the boxes I received had not been opened (and were not obviously medications, since the return address did not identify the sender as a pharmacy or pharmaceutical manufacturer), and the shipping info was inside the box in all cases.

I wonder if this is a new enforcement policy. I'll await with interest my next order. In my case, I could always as a last resort buy prescription meds in Canada, since I am there four or five times a year and purchases for personal use are allowed.

Mine were made by CIPLA in India under the names SEREFLO and TIOVA. CIPLA is a well respected company.

It's not a matter of product safety, it's a matter of politics.

I sure wouldn't risk a lot of money I couldn't afford to lose if they block a shipment.

Without my meds I'd be bedridden and hooked to an oxygen tube.
