Kornhaber concocts "The Birtherverse, where Barack Obama isn't considered an American citizen." Well, Kornhaber, without proper documentation, we don't just don't know if he's an American citizen, and Obama not only adamantly refuses to supply that documentation, but has used up over a million dollars in government funds for legal defenses to avoid supplying such documentation. The mere fact that Obama and his henchmen say he's an American citizen doesn't necessarily make it so. And BTW, Kornhaber, the Constitution requires him to be more than just an American citizen to be President, it requires him to be a Natural Born American Citizen. That has been interpreted to mean that he was born in the US to two American citizen parents, a standard which he clearly does not meet.
And BTW, Kornhaber, contrary to what you wrote, the Hawaiian state government did not issue a statement "confirming that Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii." They said that they had a record of his birth on file, which is not quite the same thing. That's because Hawaiian law at the time allowed a newborn's relatives who were residents of Hawaii to register an out of state, or even out of country, birth with Hawaii state officials.
So, Kornhaber, you didn't do your homework before you smeared not only Orly Taitz, but all the logical-thinking Americans who have any doubts as to whether Obama is constitutionally qualified to be president. In otherwords, Kornhaber, you defiled your integrity as a journalist - if you ever had any, that is.
And still another point, Kornhaber: if the courtroom episode which you describe took place on Jan.12, why did you get around to writing about it just now?

Sure, Dr. Orly makes mistakes. We all do. But Dr. Orly is no dummy. How many of us could go to a foreign country, learn 5 languages, establish a successful dental practice, a successful real estate business AND pass the California state bar- one of the hardest in the U.S. to pass?
She may be a ‘mail order’ attorney and not a Harvard lawyer, but she IS an attorney with all the rights and privilages of a Harvard lawyer nevertheless!
The point is; she has the passion, the zeal, the courage of her convictions and the love of America and its freedoms (unlike many of our ‘great’ attorneys and ‘patriots’ who criticize her) that will not let her give up!
She is exhausted. She is nervous. She is frustrated. It is reported that she gets by on 4-5 hours of sleep per night, and her family is very worried about her health- as well as her safety.
