Perry seems to rely on two familiar slogans:
“Keep D.C. out of Texas,” which is his push-back to Kay Bailey Hutchison who, for all intents and purposes, cut her own throat with conservatives when she voted “Yes” for the federal bailout in 2008; and
“Texas – We’re better off than the other states.” I’ve never heard Medina deny that Texas is better off than the other states. She does say; however, that Texas could be doing better. You could be doing better.
Medina wants to get rid of the state property tax. Any objections? She wants to replace it with a sales tax. Sorry, that can’t work. It’s too logical. It’s too easy. It gets rid of way, way, way too much government fat and it too fairly and equally distributes the load in terms of supporting the state.

She gives credence to the rants of anti-American propagandists (truthers). She’s the anti-American equivalent of someone who’s undecided on whether the Holocaust occurred because of “questions” raised by Holocaust deniers.
That’s a dealbreaker ... her positions on taxes, drugs, abortion, gay marriage, etc. are irrelevant. To my mind, her candidacy no longer exists.
Its Perry or Hutchinson. I will never cast a vote for Debra Medina (even if she were to win the primary).

No doubt that there was a better answer, and it wasn't good, but it doesn't make her a certified nut. All the pro-Perry spamming in the world won't make it so.
The closest I've seen to that is...he sucks less then KBH...and he's not a truther.
It's more of a resignation than an enthusiasm.

Medina supporters from all across the land should have a pilgrimage to Wharton. They should build a giant monument, a monolith, and call it the Non-Nut Shrine, and light candles, and hold hands, and lift up their voices singing in unison, while walking around the huge monolith in a giant circle. Singing, she is not a nut, she is the one. And scribe tattoos on each other, illustrating she is not a nut. And fast for days, meditate, do yoga, and stare at pointy crystals.

The false anti-Medina spamming that she pro-illegal immigration, pro-drugs, pro-abortion is Perry campaign propaganda. None are true, yet it keeps getting spammed here.
Do I think she is a truther? I don't and explained here why I think she hedged on the question. She has a base of supporters who are. Is that good? No. Did it hurt my perception of her? Yes. Do I agree that she is a certified nut? No. Do I think the false spamming should go unanswered? No.
FWIW, I've spoken to several people who think her comments were no big deal and that Glenn Beck was wrong, same with local radio. She clarified her comments, and needs to do it again IMO. Politically, her only way out is to focus on the redacted portions of the 9/11 Commission Report and intelligence failures.
The more I read about Medina, the more I like Perry.
Discover fire, and leap naked through the flames. While playing flutes and bongo drums. Burning incense and herbs would be the order of the day. Sacrificing goats and chickens to the great Non-Nut monolith.
Until the County Sheriff showed up and put a screaching frikkin halt to the nut worship. With pepper gas and tasers.
