Joe the Plumber is no longer a fan of either Sarah Palin or John McCain, it seems.

Joe, also known as Sam Wurzelbacher, told an audience in Pennsylvania this week that McCain "is no public servant."

"McCain was trying to use me," Wurzelbacher said, according to public radio correspondent Scott Detrow. "I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy.”

"I don’t owe him s—," Wurzelbacher continued. "He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it.”

Ever notice that Republicans make these guys famous and then they turn to the rats AKA Colin Powell, the McCain women, that little turd who fathered Bristol Palins baby, etc.

McCain actually offered Joe an opportunity to present himself. He was on track to be destroyed by the media, McCain gave Joe an opportunity to appear as a genuine human being and be humanized.

And, yes, McCain also did it to be elected. That was the point. He’s free to disagree with McCain, free to endorse Hayworth, but these sour grapes don’t do him any good emotionally, let alone whatever political goals he has.

Give Joe a break, people. How many of us regular folks could withstand the nation-wide assault he endured.

Joe should take some lessons from Sarah. Put the past behind and go on with life.
Whining is so unattractive and unmanly.

Having read these comments, I thought I’d contribute a few of mine –
My wife went to Harrisburg Saturday for the workshop / conference. She is very active in the effort to support Sam Rohrer in his candidacy for Pennsylvania governor. Corbett is a teacher – and as such a martinet of the teacher’s union. Also, his campaign manager is a CONVICTED FELON, and Corbett is the ATTORNEY GENERAL. A LAWYER. He accepts huge contributions from the teacher’s union, which is THE most vile, corrupt bunch this side of the ACLU. Corbett personifies RINO. Rendell is/was an oxygen thief, (as all liberal Dims are), a puppet of organized labor and cared NOTHING about rural Pennsylvanians – just big-city Philly, (and a little bit about Pittsburgh and Erie). He is an active ENEMY of hard-working rural people, particularly those who refuse to belong to corrupt unions and an active ENEMY of freedom-loving Pennsylvanians – period. Typical liberal Dim. Now then, concerning Joe – He doesn’t NEED a license. And, he’s proudly non union. Good for him, good for America. McCain? The best thing about him was he was light years better than the un-American idiot we have in the White House now, (but then, a cinder block would be a better president than Barry H.). I love Sarah and respect her immeasurably. I empathize and understand Joe’s problem with her support of McCain, but he should understand it is borne out of loyalty, (even though McLaim should have fired Schmidt during the campaign for his gross incompetence and disrespectful behavior toward Sarah and her family - it would have been great to see Todd knock him on his fat a**, but we all know how that would have turned out).
Sarah feels compelled to support McLaim out of loyalty – even though he doesn’t deserve it – she is doing what she perceives to be the honorable thing, (even though the concept of honor is lost on libs). I’m certain she does not agree with the cap and trade thing and it is a documented FACT that she does not agree with his lukewarm at best stance on 2nd Amendment rights.
Joe is correct – he doesn’t owe McLaim s***. I hope he does, however, understand that Sarah is following her intuition – what is the alternative to McLaim in Arizona? Only the Minuteman guy, but the screaming libs would never allow him to get very far.
Joe is a fine American. We all cannot see things from the same perspective. Even though Sarah and Todd were, (at one time), union members, (most likely FORCED to belong, or no job at all), she is the future.
