... What good is a law ostensibly intended to keep government open to the people, if the only way people can access its provisions is to have the means to hire an attorney! But judging by the tone he used when pressing the one caller to identify her lawyer; and insisting to the other caller that counsel for the Texas Democratic Party said they dont have to respond, I suspect Mr. Corcoran, Special Assistant to the Chair, Boyd Richie; was trying to intimidate both callers into backing off of their request for records. Just like Ms. Mayo Clark from the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas, had tried with me.
If that was the goal, neither of them was successful. ...

Now thers is a paragraph that is sure to create excitement....
Anybody need an e? I have one I’m not using.
JBJD you are a warrior Princess. I’ve read everything of yours I come across. Thank you for being a voice in this wildnerness.
Anti-bloggers have been complaining about having to give bloggers hits when they give no indication or idea on what is at the blog.
I take it she posted an excerpt so folks would have an idea on what is being discussed.
Thank you very much. I am dancing as fast as I can. (Please use small letters for jbjd, so as not to confuse me with other posters who share some of my initials.)
Personally, I'm not anti-blog, but I don't see the point to requiring going to another site to read a post when it's the person's own words not requiring an excerpt. So I suppose it's the waste of my time (I have an inconsistent internet connection) that I take exception to...and unnecessarily so.
Blog pimps are a menace.
I understand your frustrations, but I’m ambivalent about it if they post in the Bloggers forum. Just trying to answer the mans question.
Blogs, when linked properly sometimes open up ones horizon. Its like standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon after having been freed of captivity in a car’s trunk buried in a snowdrift on I-95 with only a box of Heinz Ketchup packets and Air America podcasts.
Perhaps a reader will be disappointed. Then again, maybe its an excellent article with just gobs and gobs of well organized material which the author is justifiably proud to offer. Or, maybe the author just got freed from a locked car’s trunk and just didn’t think of your ordeal when faced with the prospect of opening up another tab.
I just don’t see the problem in this case. The site (blog) is excellent. I, for one, am happy to see jbjd return.
widdle_wabbit, you cannot know how timely was your remark about the high caliber of work produced on my blog. Psychic benefits may not pay the rent but they sure help. Thank you.
I have no idea what others who comment here find I am doing ‘wrong.’ I post here because, the category says, “Blogs.” And I post excerpts so that, people will know what the article on my blog, is about. I assume, they will not go there, if the subject does not interest them. What is wrong with that? To sum up your answer: ‘Not a thing.’
