I asked Debra Medina point blank if she is a 9/11 Truther. Medinas answer was a simple and to the point, No.
Debra Medina entered the Governors race as a David standing before not just Goliath, but two Goliaths: Sitting Governor Rick Perry and longtime U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. Medina didnt have a chance. Yet here she is today still tilting at windmills and facing down Goliaths. Now a new and powerful foe has come along to oppose Medina in the form of nationally known conservative talk show host Glenn Beck.

Then why couldn't she manage that with Beck?
Um, maybe she’s had time to think of the appropriate answer?
My ears tell me that Beck approached Medina with a chip on his shoulder from the onset. Despite saying I dont know anything about her Beck then seems to proceed to attack Medina.
Glen Beck should be ashamed of himself...
It reminded me of the sleazy way Connie Chung sandbagged Newt's mother...
Beck needs to issue an apology to both Medina and his audience. It was really low class.
Agree ... I heard her say it ... she’s a truther, and she’s toast. She wasn’t trapped into that answer ... she had “doubts” ... c’ya
And she had every oppurtunity on national radio to say “No”, but she didn’t.
She’s backtracking because she saw where admitting you’re a truther gets you in politics.
She was for the truthers before she was against them ;)
I appreciate the clarification that Candidate Medina has placed on her campaign website. But to say that she was blindsided by a question that was a major part of several national whispering campaigns by the libs and progressive trolls is to say hasn’t been paying much attention to politics over the last decade.
I would never vote for a "truther" or anyone who even thinks they have a point. they are nuts! Vote Perry!!
Waiting for Beck to ask Hutchison or Perry if they’re “Birthers”. Likely won’t happen because he’s an establishment shill.
Beck as a “foe”?
No way. Whether you agree with him or not, whether you feel Medina was misconstrued or whatever, Beck is not a foe of either our conservative movement or our country. Beck is simply doing what the media should do, which is help We The People vet candidates.
In fact, as the Teaparty movement gains ever more steam, the responsibility to vet candidates and not just jump on bandwagons get more and more profound. We really need these candidates to show up on talk radio and FOX, for example, so we can see how they perform and judge for ourselves.
If you conclude that whatever Medina said on Beck’s show isn’t a campaign-stopper for you, then that’s your call. That’s the purpose of exposing these candidates to us through the media. But that is not at all grounds for claiming Beck is our foe.
I used to like Glenn Beck but he is an idiot now. He is good pals with O’Reilly. Beck engages in a lot of “the Republcians and Democrats are so bad - both parties are terrible.”
Thsi will be a Dem strategy to try to smear Repubs by saying neither party is any different which is not true.
Beck and O’Reilly are also anti-birthers.
Right... and David Duke isn't a racist..
Yep, he zapped the stupid answer into her brain. Of course wee Willie is supporting her. He would support Obama if he was promised a train set.
Yes, claiming to be “blindsided” by an issue that, even if it had never, ever been raised before or been an issue for people (such as Van Jones and Rosie O’Donnell), is simply basic. Either you believe your government, specifically George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, would kill their own citizens or you don’t.
Medina won't answer a Q and it's Beck's fault!? ROFLOL
I'm holding out for a pony.
Beck has a man-crush on the Charlie Crist in Cowboy Boots
The trilateral commission used HAARP to zap her with confusion and a bad answer.
