The purpose of these writings is quite simple. We wanted to provide an easy to use tool in understanding Alinskys teachings, the tactics used by his followers, their motives, and the contrast of these to the spirit of America and her forefathers. Alinskys goal was revolution, just as our forefathers; but the outcome of each revolution are as different as freedom vs slavery. You can find the archives HERE
Common Sense by Thomas Paine
I spent the last few snowy days confined to a bed due to a stomach bug that my lovely children felt generous enough to give to me. During that time, I did a lot of reading and spent some hours on some blog sites having discussions with many of these skulls full of mush that have been indoctrinated by Sauls philosophy. They have learned well from their master.
In Part 4, eeevil gives a great summary of Sauls intentions:
He wants people to feel frustrated, defeated, lost and futureless so they are willing to let go of the past. He claims that effective organization is thwarted by revolution, because the youth is too impatient and wants to go straight to the revolution. He likens the process to acts in a play. Introducing the players and the plot occurs in act one; developing them in act two; and the final struggle of good vs evil in act three.
Today, in Part 5, we will discuss going straight to the revolution. The revolution that we will talk about will not be a simple one like Saul envisions where his main goal is to rally his supporters to simply replace one king, King Big Business, for another king, King Big Government. The revolution that we will discuss is already being waged. It is the revolution for Common Sense Solutions! No more are we going to sit back and assume that Government has integrity. No more are we going to give confidence to a body of politicians who feel that they and only they have what it takes to be in seats of power.
Going back to Thomas Paines Introduction, he states the following:
As a long and violent abuse of power is generally the means of calling the right of it in question, (and in matters too which might never have been thought of, had not the sufferers been aggravated into the inquiry,) and as the king of England hath undertaken in his own right, to support the parliament in what he calls theirs, and as the good people of this country are grievously oppressed by the combination, they have an undoubted privilege to inquire into the pretensions of both, and equally to reject the usurpations of either.
This paragraph from Paines intro highlights what has been blinding many of us for decades. There has been a long and violent abuse of power going on in the halls of Congress. Both parties are complicit. I would say one much more so than the other, but both are guilty. Entrenched politicians and lobbyists have prevented any real change. So here we are at another crossroads in our countrys existence. A Saul Alinsky student, Barack Obama, waged a completely successful campaign to woo the public into thinking that Camelot was going to ride into Washington and DESTROY KING BIG BUSINESS. He has been very successful at doing that. It may be his only claim of success. The only problem is that the Hope and Change did not happen, at least not the Hope and Change that he conveyed would happen. He was going to give a house, a car, a stocked pantry and free energy for life to all who bowed down to his greatness. This has not happened and must not blind us to the fact that part of the percentage of disgruntled voters is these same people.
This is where our battle must begin. Over the weekend, I received my pocket Constitution and Declaration of Independence from the Heritage Foundation. The first two pages hold words that must forever be remembered. It says that Thomas Jefferson described the Declaration as:
an expression of the American mind [intended to] place before mankind the common sense of the subject, in terms so plain and firm as to command their assent.
Abraham Lincoln said that future generations would read the following words:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
and they would realize that:
they have a right to claim it as though they were blood of the blood and flesh of the flesh of the men that wrote that Declaration, and so they are.
We must break down the walls that these ELITES have constructed with the freedom we have given to them. Too many times, we have given up our freedom for the safety that these politicians promise to be able to provide.
The first wall that needs to be broken is the wall that exists in the minds of these Alinsky students. We must show them that the class divisions that have been constructed by politicians have been constructed to cause us to fight with one another. This fighting is a nice way to distract us from what they are doing.
The second wall that must be broken is that these elites are NOT smarter nor wiser than us. I am tired of hearing the slogan We will make them hear us. To hell with that. WE MUST REPLACE THEM! Barack Obama delivers a speech, but his words ring hollow. Many of our leaders deliver speeches, but their words also ring hollow. No real action is taken on the programs that were legislated by Congress and have turned into complex problems. We the People see the disasters that are about to happen, but somehow our leaders do not. Under one Congress or under one President, we hear that the problems that we see do not exists, yet change just the R to a D or the D to an R and suddenly a problem exists and only Government can fix it.
I believe that we are at the tipping point, or hopefully beyond it, where people have finally seen the fact that THEY have no interest in really fixing these problems. We cannot be deterred or bogged down by new roadblocks that they will throw before us. The newest one is the shift from the healthcare debate to talking about jobs again. For the next 9 months, we must not allow them to change our focus. Our message must be simple. In 2010, we will begin to reduce the size, scope and power of government at all levels.
I will close with two of my favorite parts of Thomas Paines Common Sense:
To the evil of monarchy we have added that of hereditary succession; and as the first is a degradation and lessening of ourselves, so the second, claimed as a matter of right, is an insult and an imposition on posterity. For all men being originally equals, no one by birth could have a right to set up his own family in perpetual preference to all others for ever, and though himself might deserve some decent degree of honors of his contemporaries, yet his descendants might be far too unworthy to inherit them. One of the strongest natural proofs of the folly of hereditary right in kings, is, that nature disapproves it, otherwise she would not so frequently turn it into ridicule by giving mankind an ass for a lion.
In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society, and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived.
This year is when we stop being ruled by these ruffians, these elites, these asses.
PING! Part 5
Ponged!
APPLAUSE!!!! APPLAUSE!!!
STANDING UP TO APPLAUD YOU!
and WOW- what a tremendous quote to end with!
THANKS SO MUCH!
Great post! Thanks!
Great job! Thanks. I love the bold line. I’ll be using that somewhere. It is time for us to begin confronting those we know who have had a lazy approach to politics. Gently confronting, of course. We don’t want to lose them. As wild as everything is, there is still a huge number of people who are totally oblivious...we’ve got to wake them up from their stupor! Challenge what they have come to accept as “just the way it is.” I’ve started an email/blog. I send it to friends and family and include bits of history that relate to current topics but challenge the way the topic is being spun in the media. I tell them to feel free to forward as much as they like. Just started today, so I don’t know if it will go over. I made sure to include friends and family who are not of like mind...gulp! This may not be much, but for me it’s a start. We all have to get a fire in our belly, I’m afraid—AND PRAY A LOT!
Thank you very much, guys! These posts are very therapeutic for me.....gets some of this stuff out of my head and onto paper.

I pray to God Almighty, it is so that America will repent and turn back to Him, and bow down and ask repentance and forgiveness. God will fulfill His Word. We must do our part. Realize the error and immorality of America today; and we are allowing it.
God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.
