What would Zero do in response? Send a strongly worded letter? We are in trouble, folks.
I do not trust my government, or media, enough to fully trust the term “hiker” that has been consistently applied to these individuals starting on day one of the story.
If I am wrong, I would be pleased to be wrong. I would prefer the Iranians to be holding hippie idiots rather than anyone that may have actually operating covertly.

I believe that the ‘stunning’ incidents MAY involve the awakening of longterm sleeper cells throughout the USA, who will then conduct a long series of multiple attacks on cities & towns

My guess is they will try, and it will succeed somewhat, causing wide spread panic that would allow You-Know-Won to don his Zealot Zoot Suit and try to become Yo’ Leadah!

There is no reason for them to do something that will bring nuclear hell down on them. They're crazy, but they're not stupid.
It would be much more effective for them simply to disrupt the freedom of motion through the Straits -- it would create utter havoc in the oil markets. If they add in a sweetheart deal with China, they can also create tensions there.
In doing that, they minimize the likelihood of immediate aggressive response. More to the point, they present Obama with a very difficult situation that will test whether he has the ability to deal with tangled messes.... they would be banking that he cannot, or that he does something really stupid.
China would dearly love that, too.... As would Russia, who stands to cash in on the uncertainty of oil supplies through the Straits of Hormuz.

Very logical analysis. My only thought is we are dealing with certifiably insane people, and I am talking about both the Iranians and us. US. It is my hope that our Military exerts the pressure needed to make BO react if it is called for, and that the limits of technology and the hand of God protects the innocents. Drill now. We will need it.

Those “hikers” remind me of all the lefties who ran over to Iraq to be “human shields” against American attack when we were ramping up for the invasion.
I consider it possible that there will be a strike on Israel which will , of course, fail followed by an American Obamanite strike on Israel as punishment for Israel's aggression.
I have several gas cans and this afternoon I filled them all up. I also charged the battery on my little scooter (70mpg or so) which I have not ridden since gas came back down below $2.65. Whatever happens Thursday will likely pop the price of oil way up. I think about things like a missile strike on an American warship in the Persian Gulf. The mullahs might just be calculating that there will be no physical(as opposed to oratorical) response from this president, may already have assurances of that.
Either one should trigger a retaliatory response - IF we had a real President that loved this Country and wanted to defend our sovereignty - but WE DON’T.

The Twitter type buzz is that they have enough material to seriously mess some s*** up, Israel comes to mind first, barges off our coasts comes second, and a whole crapload of empty cargo ships hanging out off the coast of Indonesia with skeleton crews ripe for hijacking comes third.....
