Glenn Beck, as even Jon Stewart admitted in his TV interview with Bill OReilly, is a talented guy. A week ago, I reviewed and praised Becks first documentary on Communism, although I did note a few shortcomings. I have also given him credit for his role in bringing to light the appointment by the Obama administration of people like Van Jones, who largely because of the exposure Beck gave to Jones largely unknown Communist views and belief in a 9/11 conspiracy theory, was forced by the administration to resign from his position as the green jobs czar.
But when it comes to history, Becks limitations are revealed. He often claims that he will admit to errors when he gets something wrong. Id like to take him up on it.

A lot of noobs are awfully concerned about Glenn Beck.
Martin Luther King Jr. spoke of his “direct actions”, and said, “Speak the truth to power.” Those are phrases coined by Lenin.
Glenn Beck is trying to pretend that Martin Luther King was a liberal, but, as the historian says, Martin Luther King was a socialist.
Is there any question that MLK would be a strong supporter of Barack Obama?
“Is there any question that MLK would be a strong supporter of Barack Obama?”
None whatsoever. King was a commie and would have been exposed had he not been shot. It’s too bad that civil rights for black Americans hadn’t been brought about by honest, noble Americans such as Thomas Sowell, Clarence Thomas, and many others.
Methinks Captain Ron missed the sarcasm, and the irony Glenn was pointing out, in his commentary...
I wonder if he actually heard the commentary, or just heard of it through other sources.
So MLK, Jr. was a Leftist?
MLK was a Republican....which confirms your assertion.
Excuse me?
It most certainly does, because socialism is a denial of civil rights.
I haven’t read much of his writings. It would appear that he was a God-fearing man, and eclectic. He drew from Gandhi, Lenin, and Jesus. Certainly a unique individual, not your traditional leftist.
