Liberals are predictable if nothing else. The new “horror” committed by Sarah Palin is that she wrote notes on her palm during her speech at the Tea Party Conference in Nashville this past Saturday. Apparently, to those on the left, this ranks right up there with other atrocities like owning a gun, believing in the constitution, reading a Bible or choosing life over abortion. What a monster Palin must be.

They go berserk over thie notes and completely ignore the fact that Sarah can give you a speech and look you in the eye while doing it.
IIRC, the teleprompter went on the fritz at the Rep convention(?) and she ad-libbed it fantastically......
I guess Liberals would have preferred her to read the entire speech from a teleprompter?

Let’s see Obama wing an entire speech at a nationally televised event with a broken teleprompter, like Sarah Palin did at the Republican National Convention.
He’d be sweating bullets, and would probably cut it short, leaving the stage with the shakes.
He can’t string more than three words together before stumbling, when he has to ad lib or speak extemporaneously.

A liberal caller to Medved’s show today was outraged about this. He said, apparently seriously, that he’s afraid if she were president, she would write down the nuclear missle launch codes on her hand. And he was outraged about nuclear missles and other matters that she would write down and not be able to commit to memory.
Of course this liberal had nothing to say about TOTUS.
I think liberals are ok with unthinking teleprompter reading as long as the one doing it is liberal/radical/Marxist. Conservatives are singled out if they refer to notes during a speech or discussion.
I have NO idea what the uproar is. If she had written 3 things on a 3x5 index card, would that have been just as bad?
I don’t get it. Is she allowed to have notes at all? Or are only teleprompters allowed?
notes SHE controls (on a card, on her hand) ... CANNOT experience ‘spontaneous technical difficulties’ (ie: sabotage)
the left tries to undermine any candidate that gets in their way. thus, Sarah is being smart to avoid anything they can interfere with (just like she shouldn’t announce any specifics about her travel plans)
You know, things like "You Lie" and “That’s not True,”
If that doesn’t get the MSMs’ immediate attention she can step up the game with "Bush's Fault," "Let me be clear" "Previous Administration", "I just walked in the door," "biggest since the Great Depression" and "inherited mess."

Not one word of commentary on the actual content of her speech. Not one word either quoting it, describing it, affirming it or refuting it.
This is what you call “imitation news”. People read this, or hear this, and think that they’ve been informed when in fact they know nothing more than they did the day before. The more you read this kind of news-writing the less you know, and the less you realize that you don’t know. You can read the news religiously and suppose that you are well informed but its all empty calories, like eating boxes of sugar cereal every day breakfast lunch and dinner.
Also I'll bet the call must have never given a speech where the flow is fluid.

Actually, anyone with a functioning brain and an ability to critically think scares the he** out of every lib. Former Governor Palin also is quite attractive. That scares the he** both out of lib “men” and of lib “women”. The more scared they are, the better I like it.
Apparently writing on your hand is childish. I do it with addresses. Much harder to lose than paper.
Sometimes I've done it at the office, and usually somebody will rush to get me a piece of paper. I've never understood what the big deal is. It's the handiest place to write a small reminder.
