I for one have no problem with this. I’m certain that our would-be suicide bomber will never see the light of day as a free man, and that is in my opinion justice. It doesn’t matter to me at all if the sentence is handed down in a civilian court as opposed to a military court.

The Al-Qaeda Bar (Big Law Firms Line Up to Represent Terrorists)
Some of the nations wealthiest and most powerful law firms have donated hundreds of
millions of dollars in free legal services to terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay prison.
Their work, bolstered by left-wing activists groups, has helped to free, or force the
transfer, of hundreds of al Qaeda suspects to third countries. Some have gone back to
terrorism and the job of trying to kill Americans.
The work of big American law firms on behalf of al Qaeda is drawing new attention since
Attorney General Eric Holder decided this month that Khalid Sheik Mohammed, who
orchestrated the murder of over 3,000 9-11, is coming to New York City for trial. Holder
was a partner at Covington & Burling, which in 2005 gave one its attorneys an award for
aiding 17 Yemeni suspects at Guantanamo.

The DOJ is bargaining away with Abdukmuttalab what should have been a life sentence. Why? For the intelligence they could have gotten quicker from him for free by interrogating him. And whether they returned him to civilian court or prosecuted him by military commission, his life sentence would not then been in jeopardy. We are negotiating with a terrorist for intelligence we should already had obtained from him and began acting upon.

And what about 911-mastermind, KSM ?
Who's idea was it to try him in a civilian court in New York City?
To: Sergeant Tim
Holder was following orders from the president.

Holders under a lot of pressure now, don’t forget the black panther case as well. He may resign to avoid having to deal with these issues and get zero off the hook at the same time.
I would say however that if he does resign zero will pick the identical person to fill his shoes.

And, in between his being mirandized and the judge handing down the sentence, how many terror attacks that Abdulmuttalab knew about would be executed ? How many American lives lost?
He was willing to be a “martyr,” so next to that what is a life sentence in a US prison?

Ø & Co. is going to get a lot of us killed.
Strike that. He already has. The Puke-in-Chief's insane ROE in AFPAK is killing our troops. It's only going to get worse with this poseur in charge.

How many of these misfits are Muslim sympathizers? If they are, what are they doing running our country? This civil court thing smells to high heaven.
