As mentioned previously and reported all over the place, on February 10th there will be an event called A Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement at the White House, with Bob Dylan and a smorgasbord of other artists performing. It is to be emceed by Morgan Freeman and Queen Latifah. Interesting, perhaps, is the clip below of Morgan Freeman talking to Mike Wallace of CBS on his attitude towards Black History Month and his idea on how to end racism.

This clip is several years old, but it’s worth repeating. And I’m sure some folks will be seeing it for the first time.
First time for me...
dumbass Wallace doesn’t know what to say when Morgan says: Black History month is ridiculous. F’n creep thought he could have a “feel good” interview and make Morgan his little black buddy.
“I’m Morgan Freeman. I BUILT the Bat Mobile”.
One of my favorite clips OF ALL TIME!
a lot like the man who turned Barbara Boxer upside down
months ago,
when she grilled him , expecting him to fall in line with the way the NAACP, etc. and all other ‘black groups’, because after all he headed an organization that was ‘black’. (Black Chamber of Commerce) —which makes
this comparison even MORE interesting.

If you want to end racism then stop practicing it. Kill AA and all set asides. Do not ask race during census. Stop gerrymandering based on race. This would be a start.
I've currently been suffering though wall-to-wall local coverage of the opening of the International Civil Rights Museum.
My first thought was, "This would have opened up 10 years ago if one of the local 'community organizers' hadn't embezzled all of the funding for it."
My second thought was "This is destined to fail. Simply because the target audience doesn't give a rip."
My third thought was not really to give a rip, myself. Then I remembered that it was largely funded with public money.......
This clip should be required to be shown to all kids in about fourth grade, and again in high school. And to all adults who have an “attitude” about race.
God bless Morgan Freeman!
I’ve always liked Morgan Freeman. He’s a wonderful actor and have always loved his movies. My respect and admiration for him is even higher than it was before.
ROFLOL!!
Freeman should have said, "Well then I'm not black, I'm Christian"
“Morgan Freeman”
He is a good man and a great American. If people only knew his accomplishments and generosities. He is one of my favorite actors.

You’re right on target about the G’boro museum. It’s still a puzzle to me how the “local community orgainzer” is not only still loose on the streets but seems to be getting stronger. Obama lost some support areound here when he declined to show up for the grand opening, but Gov Bev and Sen Hag jumped right in for him.
I guess you haven’t heard that Morgan Freeman is having an affair with his step-granddaughter.
Wasn’t he banging his granddaughter?
Morgan Freeman was always one of the only actors I liked in Hollywood.
My admiration for him just went up!
