Was John McCain Brainwashed While Imprisoned In North Vietnam? (he called U.S. vets "criminals")

Whatever he endured as a POW, there is no excuse—NONE—for the way he treated the families of the POW/MIAs in 1992 along with John F’ing Kerry, shutting down any investigation into the missing American POWs.

When Hanoi emptied the prison camps in the spring of 1973, our intellignece expected to receive 1200 men known to be POWs. They were shocked when only 600 were returned to the US.

The others were kept as insurance, in order to get payments of up to $ 4 billion in reparations promised by Kissinger and Nixon to end the war. When Congress would not approve payments to North Vietnam, the men were kept.

Over the next 20 years, over 14,000 sightings of POWs took place. Secret call signs each pilot is given to identify themselves were spotted from the air etched in the round, or made with branches.

McCain is a no good lying SOB.

I won’t judge him for his actions as a POW, but I’ll certainly judge him for what happened since.

Kerry and McCain worked hand in glove on squashing the POW/MIA rumors so North Vietnam could have normalized relations with the US.

How could a POW do this to other POW/MIA families?

And what about those men, dying one by one, in the vain hope their country did not forget about them. And if those 600 missing men died as prisoners, where is the accounting for them by Vietnam. Doesn’t anyone remember how American remains would be found every so often like clockwork in the 1980s, and then “aid” of some kind would be given to Vietnam?

McCain endured hardship no doubt. But there is something fundamentally wrong with that chameleon of a man, who has been on the wrong side of so many issues, that his very love of America needs to be questioned. A man who hates conservatives, except when he needs them to be reelected, like now.

His crowning acheievment has been to play the foil to allow the Communist Usurper to be elected President in 2008. A true patriot would have fought like hell to keep Obama out of the White House. Even two gifts in Palin and Joe the Plumber were squandered by McCain. Palin, bless her heart, believed the McCain myth and fought for America and him.

McCain said we had nothing to fear from an Obama Presidency, He lost the election that day. I swallowede hard to vote for the SOB, only because Palin was on the ticket, and she would be the President if McCain died in office.

Call us McCain haters, whatever. We are where we are today because of him. He needs to be retired to Arizona and just sell beer, with fruit loop women at his side.

Keating Five, POW/MIA family smackdown,McCain-Feingold, Amnesty 2007,McCain-Kennedy, 2000 Bush-Bashing, 2004 almost John Kerry’s running mate, his sqaundering of the 2008 election, his hatred of conservatives, his screwing up of the bailout issue in the fall of 2008,—he is all over the map, except where a patriot should be.

The hell with him and the saguaro he rode in on.

I hope JD Hayworth kicks his @ss right back to Phoenix.

Yep, Rabscuttle385 builds his self-esteem with his daily Two Minutes of Hate about John McCain. Never anyone else, just McCain. And in posts like this is outright lies. But that’s OK, it’s how he validates himself.

I was worried, it was getting late in the day and he hadn’t made his post. Good to know he got his daily slam in!

Right, he’s always been pro-life. He’s never wavered.

McCain will have to correct that himself.

Ooh. “HATE”! A liberal buzz-word. I guess that shuts down all discussion of this horrible politically-incorrect subject....if this were DU.

Yep, it’s pretty common for ratscab and his ilk to lie to build their own sense of self-importance up...

Take a look at what ratscab posts every day, and in this case pure lies and distortions. If it’s not hate, I don’t know what is... Maybe, rather than hate, ratscab has a huge mancrush on McCain and this is his way of dealing with it?

Either way, it’s pretty unhealthy and decidedly NOT conservative.

Admiral Stockdale himself supported and backed McCain 100 percent.

This trashing of him comes only from his haters and from people who have done nothing themselves except try to find fault with others.

Make no mistake, I think it’s past time to retire McCain, but this type of vicious crap speaks volumes to me about both the author and the poster.

So solly, but his support of Amnesty will - if passed - create another 20 million Democrat voters.

I know the Democrats to be doing their freaking best to destroy this nation. Juan McCain is an enabler to that end.

Doom on him!!!!

Lists are always interesting, because who in their right mind has wanted to make a list of McCain’s positives or a list of notable people in his past who have come to his defense in all of the matters?

Most assuredly not me, but when it comes to the attempts to discredit his POW years or his military service and subsequent hearings on the POW/MIA issues, there are a lot of his fellow POW’s and his commanders who fully agreed with him.

In later years, some of the MIA’s (through DNA) were identified and at least one of them were from one of families represented at the hearings. He was a downed pilot from San Diego. His sister was a long suffering hold out and she was present at the hearing.

Dave Gibson who wrote this crap,

After completing two years at Tidewater Community College, Dave Gibson became a Virginia Beach Deputy Sheriff. He has since left the department and now owns a small business in the city of Chesapeake, Virginia. He has worked at the Virginia Zoo, the Norfolk SPCA, and currently works for the K-9 New Life Center based in Virginia Beach.

This clown’s articles are typical keyboard commando tripe.
Good thing he never had the courage to join the military as he would have cost tax payers the expense of a Section 8 discharge

Lists of links to articles are only interesting if you read the articles.

Here is a good one.

The War Secrets Sen. John McCain Hides

It is a long article and well worth the read. Here is an excerpt.

Another bill gutted in 1996

And then there is the Missing Service Personnel Act, which McCain succeeded in gutting in 1996. A year before, the act had been strengthened, with bipartisan support, to compel the Pentagon to deploy more resources with greater speed to locate and rescue missing men. The measure imposed strict reporting requirements.

McCain amended the heart out of the statute. For example, the 1995 version required a unit commander to report to his theater commander within two days that a person was missing and describe what rescue and recovery efforts were underway. The McCain amendments allowed 10 days to pass before a report had to be made.

In the 1995 act, the theater commander, after receiving the MIA report, would have 14 days to report to his Cabinet secretary in Washington. His report had to "certify" that all necessary actions were being taken and all appropriate assets were being used "to resolve the status of the missing person." This section was stricken from the act, replaced with language that made the Cabinet secretary, not the theater commander, the recipient of the report from the field. All the certification requirements also were stricken. 'Turn commanders into clerks' "This," said a McCain memo, "transfers the bureaucracy involved out of the field to Washington." He argued that the original legislation, if left intact, "would accomplish nothing but create new jobs for lawyers and turn military commanders into clerks."
