It's so cute to see kids playing with their marbles... so innocent, so prescient about their little game... Unfortunately not much else, it seems.
So you think the three scratches that didn’t require any stitches, surgical procedures, or bandages otherwise than band-aids make him a war hero??? Even when one of these minor injuries is self inflicted? You are most defiantly smoking something. Kerry used the system to get out of Nam. He scammed the system. He misrepresented his injuries until witnesses ratted him out. To a fighting GI the indication is that he was a coward and thought he was too good to stay his year like the rest of us. Three months and three scratches and he was back in the states lying to the American people. Skerry didn’t see enough combat to even know what was going on. He was and is a BSing POS. There are many who served with him who told the truth. Their statements are all the same. Skerry lied about many things. Skerry refuses to reveal his discharge status. There is a very good chance it was not originally an honorable discharge. Odds are that he got a 3910 General discharge that was later upgraded. All he has to do is produce his DD Form 214 but he has refused. He stands to lose absolutely nothing if he is telling the truth. I guess it is a matter of perspective. I know of many Heroes that were hurt worse in bar fights and they called that fun. Among combat vets Skerry is a laughable joke. The American fighting man has only vile contempt for a coward that leaves others to fight and die in their place.
My brother in law and several younger cousins are currently active duty. You should hear what they think of the obambat.

So what? It can't be any worse than what I say about him.
“But he has not been charged with crossing a legal line. He has never been charged, never subjected to a grand jury investigation, and no charges have ever been filed in the military under the UCMJ or in the civilian world.”
So, that’s your standard? That he hasn’t been arraigned? Seriously?
I know what he did. You know what he’s done. He isn’t deserving of any honorable man’s respect at this point. He is scum.
“We know the anatomical equivalent of opinions is.”
Your’s too.
“The gold standard is still provable truth, and your words just aint it.”
Are you going to claim that it isn’t provably true that McCain supported legislation that violated the Constitution, that he supported the KLA, and shutdown the POW investigations to normalize relations with a Communist country over MONEY?
“Treason doth never prosper, what’s the reason? For if it prosper, none dare call it Treason.” - Harrington.
Telling you I’m a woman when ‘you’ said I was a man is not ‘playing the woman card’ you dolt. Go to the proctologist and have your attitude adjusted.
Still non responsive.
You are wrong on two counts: I am decades older than you and you predicate your arrogant psychological assessment on one sentence. What a phony.
This guy fancies himself a genius. It’s FR Obama. ;) Look at his ‘about’ page. Arrogance on display.
We should keep someone like McLame in power because...???
You hit the nail on the head. Thanks.
I do not - repeat - do not advocate for McCain’s retention in office. In fact, you can find many reasons for disagreeing with his political views. However, character assassination regarding his conduct as a POW is completely unjustified.
I already responded.
You introduced a nonsensical straw man argument.
I don’t argue with straw men.
good info dude, id not seen that before, and it is a pity that more of us are unwilling to even consider the possibility that juan is potentially compromised in more ways than just being a greedy old bastard...
What most here are discussing is legit, given Juan’s behavior in office: was he in fact brainwashed by the NVA/Soviets/whomever during his captivity? It’s hardly impossible and I HAVE heard comments from some of his fellow POWs, though not all of them, that might lend credence to the notion. That would surely explain his behavior toward the MIA families when he and Kerry shut down the hearings and demanded that evidence be destroyed. We already KNOW that Kerry’s a commie.
Still non responsive.
In the final analysis, you and I can have different opinions yet share a love of country.
“...just being a greedy old bastard...”
To my mind, “Greedy” doesn’t seem to be the right issue with him. Damaged, maybe; in which case it’s more a pity and just another example of why we need to once and for all relegate communist/socialist ideology and the people who espouse/force/support it to the trash heap of history.
Maybe he just never fully came home, like a lot of other gentlemen. Of all the torture that can be inflicted on human beings, the torture inflicted on the mind can be the most horrible, because it nevers ends, and rears its head for years to come.
I found that article a few years ago, and kept it because it taught me a lot about what these jerkoffs did to our folks when they got captured.
They think long term; WE think about 20 seconds into the future, and it shows (hence, Obama).
Look up Lt. Col. Nick Rowe, and what the communists did to him, years AFTER he escaped from one of their hell-holes; the NVs called up their communist buddies in the Phillippines and assassinated him in 1989.

Read his book, “Five Years to Freedom”, to learn of the indoctrination and mind games they played on him and his fellow POWs. It’s absolutely evil what these folks did. If I had my way, they’d be individually hunted down and exterminated for what they did - no matter how long it takes, similar to the Mossad hunting concentration camp Nazi guards. And I’d take absolute pleasure in seeing it carried out (may God forgive me).
We’re fighting an ideology that is rotten to its core, who will use, break, and destroy people as they see fit. We forget (or maybe were never taught) that the Moslems who are currently waging worldwide jihad were trained in terror tactics by Soviet communists from all over the world. The “Evil Empire” might be gone, but it’s adherents and true believers are alive and well and thriving.
The Cold War never ended; it just shifted and changed form, true to their doctrine.
Evil people do evil things to good folks; to my mind, that’s what happened to McCain. Maybe I’m wrong, and yes, it’s conjecture, but two and two always adds up to four, and it seems clear to me from his patterns of behavior, that he is quick to defer to the enemy and go against his supporters, and always when its critical, with regularity.
All of that being said, I just don’t believe McCain should be in office any longer. He’s had his “turn”. Time to step down and let the people decide who they want in that seat. And if it turns out that they put him back in, we need to always be on our guard because he is NOT on the right side of things, and have contigency plans in place to counteract any damage he can do - same with Snowe, Collins, etc.
I don’t want to engage in his character assassination; he served his Country, was brutalized beyond comprehension, and did what he did. Those of us who haven’t been through that can fathom it, and none of us know the dark secrets of another’s heart or motives. Only God knows them.
I just want my country back, and want to see people with that same viewpoint in positions where they can actually help us accomplish that goal. McCain isn’t that guy.
i respect his service and the fact that he endured POW treatment, but the fact remains that he is unwilling to go away...just like fat ted, he seems determined to die in office, for his own, or worse, his implanted motives...
