Russians Interested In Tea Party Movement

Interesting development - I've received several Emails from Russians who are inspired by the ongoing Tea Party movement in the USA, and are apparently attempting to adopt the model of "Leaderless Resistance" to overthrow the Putin Regime.

Why me? It would appear they have become fans of my blog "The Freedom Fighter's Journal" at

There's a bit of a language problem here, since these folks don't read or write English very well and I don't speak Russian at all, so the exchange of ideas are a little difficult. I'm in the process of finding translation software.

My take is that these people are on the up and up, and looking for advice on how to change things politically for the better in Russia. It appears they have been surfing mostly American resistance websites for ideas.

I have seen inquiries about the Tea Party Movement from people in other countries--some people whose English is excellent and who obviously know a lot about the U.S.A. but are a bit confused about what it means. Some think it's a political party, i.e. the Tea Party.

I have explained the Boston Tea Party and how the present movement is a reexpression of it. We Americans sometimes overlook the subtlety--and the powerful symbolism--of some of our historic events. An explanation seems to help--and to inspire.

To export the Boston Tea Party is a good idea!

It's a good gift to people all over the world.

We must explain it--its meaning--and let 'em have it so they can let 'em have it.

I feel safe....

I don’t think the Russian socialists, like ours, understand the threat posed to them by “Leaderless Resistance” groups like the Tea Party.

After all, these people are reactionary elites very much like the old French aristocracy of the late 18th century who were surprised as hell when they looked out the window on July 14, 1789 to see thousands of peasants coming at them with pitchforks.
