38 year old Kurt Warner, quarterback extraordinare, is calling it quits with the Arizona Cardinals in order to retire from the NFL. After 12 seasons as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, he has decided that it is time to move on to greener pastures, even though he has 1 year left on his two-year $23 million contract.

So sad. Ever since the Rams screwed him over and cut him loose, I have refused to attend any Rams football games (unless the Arizona Cardinals come to town, of course).
Cheers
I will miss Kurt. Great man and great player.
AGREED...MY Rams (Mike Martz basically) screwed Warner big time.....Where is Martz now??? Hahaha...
.
I will miss watching Kurt....As a lifelong and displaced Rams fan, he was fun to watch, and when he left, I watched the Cardinals. Great Christian man, with a wonderful wife and family.......In 2000/2001, there would be games where he wouldn’t miss a pass. Sure, not every pass was caught, but they were RIGHT THERE. In what turns out to be his next to last game, he had 5 TD’s and 4 incompletions.
.
Godspeed Kurt.....
