Thanks for that link. It’s a very informative read. I did not donate a dime to Haiti either because I know my tax dollars are a donation.
It’s normal to feel empathy toward your fellow man, and normal as well to have stronger feelings of kinship toward people who are genetically similar to yourself and family. People are inclined to help people who remind them of themselves. Haiti’s best chance for civilization is to be conquered by us and converted to Christianity. And I would rather not bother.
