CNN's Jack Cafferty Says He Hopes Hillary Clinton Will Challenge Obama for 2012 Nomination - Video

Here is video of CNN's Jack Cafferty saying he hopes Hillary Clinton will decide to challenge President Obama in 2012 for Democrat Nomination. Cafferty made the statement at the end of an opinion piece in which he talked about Obama's declining poll numbers, and how it would be a great thing for journalists to see the two square off once again. Cafferty indicated he does not mean he supports Clinton or Obama, but would love to see the two battle it out once again.

Somehow, I doubt the White House is hoping to see a rematch. . . . (VIDEO)

The schism watch begins. In the red corner we have the Kenyan Kid, late of the Shinning Path. In the pink corner we have the old lady (McCain in drag), representing all those white blue collar folks that cling to their guns and religion but still think government owes them something. Let’s rumble!!!! I fear Bwaney is confused where to place his bet. Poor nancy and harry, when Hillary steps down as SOS, they become powerless.

A 100% accurate predictor for whether or not a president will be reelected is whether or not they face a strong primary challenge during their quest for a second term.

Bush Sr : Pat Buchanan
Jimmy Carter : Ted Kennedy
Gerald Ford : Ronald Reagan

Both Johnson and Truman chose not to even seek reelection because they were going to lose the Democrat nomination.
The Democrat nominees who replaced them went on to lose both of those elections.

So in a word: Go Hillary!

Yeah. I wonder if Jack knows any journalists he could point in that direction?

It should be interesting for you propagandists, too, though Jack.

There is no way they are just longing for the memories of the battle between the two. The ONLY reason he mentioned this is because he wants OBAMA OUT!

I think Obama is going to step aside and let Hillary run.

I think that may have been the plan all along.

Sorry Jack but Hillary’s statement that the US is going to work closely with the UN on the small arms treaty has killed her future career.

She too is not listening.

This is why Obama suddenly brought up don’t ask don’t tell. It is a reminder to his base that Bill Clinton signed it.

He sees the threat.

Well, Obama did say he doesn’t care if he is a one-term President.

The best part was watching all the Dems (who do care about reelection a lot) simultaneously crap their pants when he said it. lol

The reason BHO appointed HRC as SOS because he was following that old adage “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”

HRC left pissed-off when she conceded to BHO losing to him by a hair. She’ll challenge him.

No sitting democrat president who has had a primary challenge has won re-election. See LBJ and Carter as the most recent examples.

Does anyone really think BelowZero will still be in office to run for re-election? I think the next House and with the cooperation of the Demorats will impeach that sucker and throw his sorry butt out.

We already hear rumors of behind closed door gritching about him from his own party and we have another year of his bumbling screw-ups before anything can happen.

After the Demorat blood bath this fall he will be fair game from both sides of the aisle.

IF Hillary would run against Obama ... what would her “talking points” be? It would be difficult for her to pick a point “against” what Obama stands for that wouldn’t support a Republican position. Here’s an easy one: Fiscal responsibility ... makes sense, but that would cause you to vote for a Republican, not Hillary. What could she pick that would differentiate her from Obama, but not be standing with the Republicans. Fun to think about.

I would expect it would get down and dirty personal real fast. Supporters for both are radical Alinskyites and have no problem being visciously ad hominem. I would be an explosive mixture.

They both studied Saul Alinsky....both are progressives....

Well if she was talking to the democratic base she would talk about the public option and the single payer option that is supposed to be in the national health bill that Obama promised and isn't in the current bill. Then when she talks to swing voters she could talk about the tax on health insurance, and health benefits that Obama said would never happen, but are there under the plan. When talking to conservatives she could talk about the fiscal policies that have ruined the economy under this administration. She could pander to all sides and really hurt Obama in the primaries.

Seriously, one was born in America and one genuinely loves America but has many negatives. The other one was not born in America, clearly does NOT love America and has way too many negatives.
