You know how it always seems to rain right after you wash your car? Well Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania) seems to have parked his recently refurbished political career under an old oak tree full of well fed birds. After 44 years as an elected Republican, the five term senator switched parties in 2008 hoping to ride the Obama wave but finding himself being dragged under it instead.

The dirty little gutless coward did not even have the class to request air time on the same station where he dissed Michelle Bachman to apologize. He called her on the phone.
I would love to be in the position, and I never will be, to confront the little bastard and ask him if he'd like to make some condescending remarks to my wife or me.

Benedict Arlen needs to undergo some testing. Test to determine whether or not he is mentally competent to be a senator. check him out for senile dementia, alzheimers or if truly has a brain in his head or if he has truly brain in his pants. seems many in the the Senate and Representatives have the same problem - poop for problems or are just plain complete butt holes.

We need Arlen Spector around to remind us of how the Republicans came to be in the piss poor position they find themselves these days. Remember how conservatives BEGGED the Party to dump him but they, including George Bush, ignored our protestations and worked a ‘deal’ with him? I forget the details, it might have been the Gang of 14 or spin off of it, but I remember, oh so well, how angry the conservative base was with him last time he was up for reelection and how we expressed out dissatisfaction loud and long, only to have the RINO’s think they had tamed him and as a show of good faith agreed to back him.
