Well, he’ll at least be the “one-term” part.

Even the liberals in Massachusetts think 0bama was stupid for saying this. They really see him as a 2 term leader with a really hard job.

James K. Polk may have been the last of the breed, but not everyone would agree that going to war with Mexico was a good idea. If not for the Mexican Cession of 1848, we might not have had the Civil War, at least not as soon as it came.

To a commie like 0, "good" means sabotaging the American system and our national security. He's done very well at that. It will take many years to undo the damage he's done in a few months.
I would like to see him have a good long term in Federal prison.
To: bloodmeridian
How about a 1/4 term president? That’s even better. Get out now.

There is a good possibility this is another childish jab at President George W. Bush. Bush 41 was a good President, but lost his reelection due to Ross Perot.

I have doubts that Democrats themelves will put up with him for 3 more years....can you say 1/2 term President.
They'd put Biden in and the sane Democrats [there are a few] would keep a tight leash on him - that's the best of all possible outcomes.
The worst is he stays and becomes even more radical to keep the most militant portion of his base to intimidate the folks that are fed-up. It'll be very dangerous if that's what happens -
So much depends on the outcome in November 2010 - 9 months from now!!!!

Biden’s crazier than Zero is, and he couldn’t give a damn what the public thinks. For all the folks that think Zero is horrible, you ain’t seen nothing yet with Biden as President.

A really hard job?
He hasn't done anything but profile and take vacations...for cryin' out loud.
This bean sprout has spent a year acting like a redneck lottery winner with more focus on how cool he looks walking to the podium than what is going on in the middle east...and someone actually thinks he's "working".
He's an EEO child...he don't know nothing 'bout no working.
I'll put it this way, in years to come when a future president has a problem, I seriously doubt he'll ask, "What would obama do?.

As Mark Steyn said today, I’d settle for a mediocre one termer at this rate!

It is fair game for a politician (Churchill comes to mind) to do the right thing as a leader and let public opinion catch up, as good things emerge. Good leaders lead.
The problem with Obama is that he is not good. Whether the public backs him or not. He is bad.

I’d be more impressed by his statement if somebody, anybody could name for me a “really good” one-term president who didn’t get shot. Usually, they’re one-term because they sucked and got sacked.
